I found an old letter Rachel has written...but it’s really vague.
She apparently had a lot of secrets.
It looks like Chloe and Rachel had their own little clubhouse in this junkyard.
Chloe’s “home away from hell” is a junkyard.
Now that Chloe believes Max, she wants to play with Max’s powers. Max doesn’t think they should be toying around with it, though.
Max suddenly gets a nosebleed, but she dismisses it as no big deal. Chloe says that she wants to test her power further, so they leave the diner and head to one of her secret hangouts.
Chloe wants to see more of Max’s powers. Max decides to predict the future by watching what happens in the diner in the next 30 seconds, and then she rewinds time and recounts what will happen.
This game really makes you pay attention to the details.
Chloe wants Max to prove she has the power to manipulate time by guessing what’s in her pockets. To do this, Max first admits she doesn’t know. Chloe will then take out whatever’s in her pockets, and Max will study them carefully before rewinding to them Chloe asks her what’s in her pockets.
There’s a bear keychain on her car keys, coins, cigarettes, and I think a warning ticket for parking illegally.
Also, Chloe’s license plate is another Twin Peaks reference! “TWNPKS”!
The hardest decision I’ve had to make so far.
It’s obvious that this lady is supposed to be Canadian. You can tell by her terrible “Canadian accent”.Â
Rich people are so aggravting, ugh.
Kate is a shy religious girl who’s currently under fire for a viral video. She went to a Vortex Club (they’re kind of a clique for the popular/rich kids) party and was recorded making out with a bunch of guys. Someone (presumably Victoria, that bitch) recorded and uploaded the video, and now it’s spreading all over the place. I snooped around Kate’s room and saw that her family already knows about the video and they’re condemning her for it, which isn’t fair because they don’t know the full story.
Kate explains to Max that she was drugged, and that Nathan Prescott offered to help her. He apparently said he was going to take her to a hospital, but he ended up taking her someplace instead (Kate wasn’t sure where but she thought it was a hospital at first). Then she remembers a sharp pain in her neck, and then she wakes up outside her dorm next morning.
She thinks she needs to go to the police for this, but I decided to tell her that she needs to find hard evidence first or they won’t believe her. She’s mad at me for suggesting that because she wants an immediate solution to her problem, but that really isn’t possible right now.
Max gets an anonymous threat from someone on her phone. All of the signs point to Nathan but since there isn’t any hard evidence, it’s hard to wholly blame him. It can literally be from anyone.
Apparently Nathan came into Max’s room and vandalized some shit while she was showering. If this really is his doing, he’s one fucked up kid geez.
The 90s television show Twin Peaks is referenced in Max’s journal in episode two (FIRE WALK WITH ME)!
I’m a HUGE fan of the show so this scored some extra brownie points with me.
It looks like Max informed Warren of her powers too. He’s been pounding her email inbox with information on time travel, quantum physics, and all that complicated science junk.
Max has been trying to make heads or tails of her dream and newfound powers, but nothing makes sense.
The game ranks the decisions you make with other people who’ve played. Telltale does the same thing! Interesting.
After finding a newspaper in her nightmare, Chloe finds out that this is a premonition: this tornado will hit Arcadia Bay (the town) in 4 days. She comes out of her dream and tries to explain her new powers to Chloe.
At first, Chloe doesn’t believe Max, but then it randomly starts to snow. In 80 degree weather. After that happens, Chloe finally relents and tells Max to explain everything - about her dream, her power, the storm...everything.
And the first episode is finished.
