mello does NOT like sweets or just any chocolate/anything chocolate flavored. he only likes one single dark chocolate bar. the same goddamn chocolate bar he has been eating since wammy's and possibly even earlier. he does not like sweets, not only is the chocolate bar dark chocolate, contrast him to someone who actually likes sweets like L, who likes a variety of sweet things because he doesn't have a specific comfort food. he just likes the taste of sugar and sweet things. mello on the other hand only ever eats the same bitter chocolate bar over and over again. he does not eat other bitter/chocolate flavored things. he never changes the brand or the type of chocolate. he only likes that specific chocolate bar and that chocolate bar alone.

I dont think mellodramattic shippers who constantly dog on meronia know what they're talking abt😭😭 i ship both, but mellodramattic is unfortunately mostly made up from YOUR interpretation of their dynamic that we dont see much of. THAT is why it appears so boring from face value. everyone wants a healthy and no-evil ship but that just doesnt work for Mello's character (nor Matt's lol.) Meronia is filled with flaws, which is what makes it so interesting. Its so much fun to explore and delve into because it really opens your mind into what both of those boys went through.

mello solo panel edit

chapter 76: mello gets mad at a random shower.

started working on this page and thought i would share how i try to restore panels. lmk if you have tips because i am not a professional!! i ""taught"" myself photoshop just enough for melloism 🫡

the worst part is when i have to remove my wife halle from mello's fuckass panels.

here i removed the texts and overlaid the japanese version of the manga over the english version because sometimes the japanese original covers less of the frame. the difference:

it's not much but at least it gives an outline for where the hairstrands should go.

i haven't progressed to this step yet but then i outline the hair first following the original lines. it looks something like this when i do:

then i try to match the line weight and place the textures by copy pasting from the other parts of the painting. that's how i do it!
