One more OC thought based on how @mxboxlocks describes Insanity on their Wilson artblog in this post here. Which is a banger by the way if you don't follow their blogs go now.

Warble gets very angry when insane, to the point where they lash out at others. They think people are looking down on them for their physical shortcomings, and see their friends as enemies. Or as the family they left behind when they joined the survivor group. It's best to force them to sleep when they get near insanity. Because otherwise they go right for the throat.

On the inverse everything scares Wedelia while she's insane. All the things that she's already afraid of seem even bigger, and she tends to attack out of fear if anything. But usually she just curls up and tries to hide. Which would be fine if shadow creatures weren't a thing. She's a kid, and insanity makes her nightmares just all the more real and all the more scary.

A few random notes about Warble and Wedelia while I work on drawing them more!

WARBLE:

Is on the shorter side, but is late teens/early adult in age. I don't have a specific range picked yet but they're just tiny

Uses they/them pronouns

Their wings are usually covered up by whatever they are wearing; be it a poncho or a sleeved shirt to hide most of their wings

They cannot fly but they can glide a bit (this would be one of their character perks)

They have an easier time getting near birds, and get more hunger from seeds

They would appreciate the more 'artsy' or out there types in the survivor group; people like Wigfrid, Walter, Willow, etc.

Their favorite food is fish tacos!

WEDELIA:

Is a child! Think in a similar range to Webber, Wurt, and Wendy

She is a vegetarian and loses Sanity when holding meat

Bunnymen won't attack her even when she has meat

When people are low sanity near her she appears as a beardling. If she dies like this she can drop beard hair but its just a chance

She would like the other kids in the group most, and is wary of adults

They can make their own mini burrows, probably with a skill tree. These would have various uses

Her favorite food is Flower Salad (this msy change)

My other DST OC finally! Their name is Warble and they are a crow, similar to Corvus Goodfeather and the Crow Kids! They have smaller wings than 'normal', and therefor cannot fly. They wear a poncho over it, but I want to do a fullbody reference for both them and Wedelia soon!

I have two(2) DST OCs. One I have yet to debut yet but their voice would be played by a bird water whistle. The other one (Wedelia) would be a Garklein Recorder!
