Some wack stuff is going on in my social life and it’s really horrifically childish and I’m not involved in any way but have gotten dragged into some stuff by association. I’m just a bit worried about my mental health right now and hope this all calms down soon. Tumblr better send me some cute dogs and LOTR shit.

I got really sick last year so I didn't have to do anything on Christmas so I turned on LOTR: FOTR extended version early in the morning and we ended up playing all three of them over the course of a day. I thought this was actually a good Christmas tradition and want to do it again this year and it has been SO HARD to not watch any of the LOTR movies this year so I don't ruin the fun of the tradition. Only a few more days!

Mixed episode or mixed mania is pretty hard to explain. Psychiatrists often say you have both (hypo) mania and depression at the same time. Which well doesn't make sense.

To me mixed episodes mean:

Barely sleeping but no energy

Racing thoughts in a negative way

Loss of interest in ideas you get

Lethargy

Freaquent mood swings that make no sense

Passive aggressiveness

Tingling in your body

Electricity in your stomach

Feeling sick physically

Having energy to clean but stop abruptly because it passes

Anxiety

My bipolar really shows itself in mixed episodes and it's so hard to describe feeling so depressed but also so irritable to the point you want to punch out a wall. The frequent mood swings and feeling sick to my stomach are so miserable. Been having a really hard week and I hope things turn around here soon, but it's December and the winter really fucks with me.
