To contribute you must be 13+ and be able to communicate via discord

this is less of a question and more of a PSA to anyone who applied, but the results email sometimes gets sent to spam, so be sure to check it if you applied but didnt get a response!!

State SMP 2.5 Contributor Application

Welcome to the contributor applications for the 2.5 State SMP zine. Any questions can be directed to our Tumblr (@state-smp-zine) Inbox or

They will remain open for two weeks (until the 6th of July), and roughly a week after they close you can expect to hear back from us via email as to whether you have been accepted or not.

If you are accepted, you will be given a plot point that your piece must show. In the form, you can select characters and nations you would like your plot point to revolve around, and we will accommodate that to ensure everyone is working on something they want to be working on.

You may apply to be a writer or an artist. As a writer, you have liberty over the type of writing you produce, examples being prose, poetry, lyrics, etc. As an artist, you also have liberty over what kind of art you do, examples being prop art, scenes, environment. So long as your piece directly or indirectly shows the plot point occurring, then you can do that however you want.

I understand that the State SMP fandom has had issues in the past with shipping and enforcing boundaries. How will this zine be approaching those topics?

This zine will stick strictly to the canon events of State SMP 2.5, which means no shipping/romantic pieces outside of canonical relationships (an example being the barbenheimer wedding).

The purpose of this zine is to have fun, we’re pretty much just playing with toys after all! We will abide by cc boundaries, and no NSFW content will be included.

However, topics like death, suicide, violence, and drugs may come up due to the plot and nations in the event, a trigger warning will be included at the start of the finished zine, and on the pages that include those triggers.
