i can’t believe you’d make me go into space, guillermo
here’s a visual depiction of my brain at any given moment for the past month

Guillermo and his vampires
I can’t believe this is all we have left of them until season 5…

What we do in the shadows - 4x08
Im sick nobody talk to me
Marwa my baby, light of my life, my main girlie if you don’t kill him I’ll do it for you
The moment when you’re flirting with your best man and your wife interrupts, amirite fellas?
As sexy and delightful as the fight was, I'm honestly bracing myself for some heavy-ass Guillermo stuff in the back half of the season. He's going to start questioning everything about who he is and who he wants to be, in ways we probably can't even fully guess yet.
- Laszlo didn't just drag him to England, Nadja clearly dragged him back. And that's HUGE. Guillermo was convinced to stay but a major part of his life with the vampires is how he was never a prisoner. He left, but it was always his decision to come back. And in this case he was torn away from a different life by force, even if he found reasons to stick around.
- "I love you" like holy shit he's not just dating this guy, either it's SERIOUS or he's trying to make it serious. How easily could he get an 'I love you' from either the vampires or his bio family? And he was forced away from THAT in England too.
- everything coming to the surface as he coparents Colin, which addresses his own neglected childhood and probably a lot of the things that led to him wanting to be a vampire in the first place
- the way he still seems to identify with familiars and was so loath to hurt even people who were aggressive towards him during the familiar fights. Even after everything Guillermo doesn't want anything to do with the harsher aspects of this world if he can help it. And yet he does need to stand up for himself in ways that go beyond Nandor and 'his' vampires and Nandor has started to encourage that, but will he ever really be accepted? How's all that going to impact his vampire prospects?
- AND we've got his bio family and his sexuality and more about his human boyfriend coming down the pipeline. And Harvey's hinted that all that shit is gonna be intense.
I think for Guillermo to really, properly work as a character he has to love this world, and love these people, and want to be part of it all. And then fight his way upward and earn every bit of that.
So being forced away from it for a bit, to confront the possibility of a human life and whether that would be better for him, is a necessary question but one that's going to be painful no matter how it's answered. And that's probably gonna hit him just as it's hitting Nandor that he loves this person more than anyone else in the world. And it's going to strike them both with the force of a semi truck.
I'm ready for the pain but fuck am I scared, fam. In the best/worst way. Get your covers of Fleetwood Mac's Landslide at the ready.

Pulverize in which way Nandor... ?
Staten Islands Most Eligible Bachelor + some Djinn + Memo sketches
so how about that episode
One of Nandor’s 37 wives that he brings back from the dead. He is very fascinated with Guillermo, and insists that he tell him stories about where he comes from and his upbringing. This makes Nandor uncomfortable, so he sends him back to the dead.
i’m still mourning that there was a scene written in the 4x2 script where one of Nandor’s guywives tries to flirt with Guillermo, and Nandor was weird about it, but it got cut out
can't help but feel like it was a deliberate choice to have guillermo say this whilst looking the most like his pilot self that he's ever looked since the first season lmao.....the location and framing of the shot is almost identical too. what if I died
