Rachel nodded and beamed. âWhy, yes I did. Itâs a lullaby of some sort.â
He raised an eyebrow, taking a seat on the bench near him. âWell, letâs hear it!â A smile grew on his face as he was always excited to hear Rachel play.
She nodded and opened the case. The first thing she picked up was the bow. Then, the violin was lifted with great care. She sat beside him and positioned the violin, along with the bow. She started playing Brahmâs Lullaby.
The statue leaned back as he listened to the music. It was things like this that made Rachel the one human he didn't hate. He was half tempted to run and get his own violin to learn the new song, but he waited until she would draw the bow from the strings.
