STARTER CALL || @stcrkllr· .
ARMS ARE CROSSED, blond hair braided back into a high ponytail, senatorial robes hanging off his form as he stares at the holoscreens. a few transmissions awaiting his perusal, but one catches his eye first, flashing light indicating its activity. with a sigh, he signals one of his officers to page it through, eyes closing as he takes in a breath before the holo pops up, his own being broadcast to the other.
‘‘ this is senator makilla of corellia. might i ask what the intention of this communication is ? thought i made it clear we have no foot in this war you’re waging, one way or the other. ’’
The blue light of a holoprojection never did suit the General’s visage, it made his ghostly appearance that much starker against a backdrop. Politics were often tedious like this, and Corellia was too valuable to let fall from their control. The sector of the Galaxy was too close to other vantage points to be left to it’s own devices, Hux was smart enough to know that much, and forceful enough to ensure it’s success. “Good evening, Senator.” The filter of his voice only polishes the crisp syllables reminiscent of an Empire lost. The questions did not go unheard and Hux holds his expression still before answering. “It is not a war we are waging, we are simply ensuring there will be peace through the Galaxy.” Practiced words from a practiced tongue. “And as you know the crime in Corellia is increasingly worse with it’s terrorist support. The First Order offers it’s protection from these pirates.”

IT WAS NORMALLY NOT THE INTENTION OF THE ADMIRAL TO START ANY GREAT DISCUSSION REGARDING THE FIRST ORDER. HOWEVER THIS DEMONSTRATION OF POWER WOULD SOON STRIKE THE EYES OF THE RESISTANCE. It was only a matter of time, until they would try to infiltrate the base and tear its heart out. For the males own sanity, was it important to speak to the man that had created this masterwork of technology. The liquor had freshly entered the body anew, feeling how the hotness of the alcohol made the admirals body burn in sensation. CLEARLY it had been a few years since the man had consumed any kind of strong drink.
It would be a wonder, if Adan would manage to get any kind of report finished later on. But his mind remained focused when the general acknowledged his words, and even continued the discussion further on. But perhaps it was too soon to see the RESISTANCE attack such a strong base of operations.
A smaller smile appeared on pale lips, giving his superior the slightest of nods. NOTHING that would indicate that he was being scared of this man— knowing that so many other officers were. There was nothing to be scared about, as long as the FIRST ORDERS interests would be kept at bay. But there were so many words left unsaid, and Adan just felt the need to express his concerns about the base FURTHER. A gloved hand put the glass to the side, immediately regaining his posture — anything to make the slight intoxication disappear and at least look a bit presentable.
‘‘—The First Order must always prevail, which is WHY I am bothering you with my concerns at this blessed day. My past will always be a part of me, but my REPUBLIC days were over as soon as I was able to make my own decisions. THEY will not stop until their pathetic little group of fighters has won over the galaxy.’‘
There was a halt, for the admiral had not intended to ramble on about his CONCERNS, not in the presence of a general at least. Eyes focused on the ground, head kept low before speaking yet again. ‘’ —We MUST be prepared.’’
He had not expected the conversation to continue much further, it wasn’t customary---and of course most knew the General preferred isolation. Perhaps it wasn’t entirely true, but Hux was content in his solitude, it’s confines safe. The delicate procedure of spinning a mostly empty glass is entertained if only to watch the way it bubbled out of the corner of his eye. The Admiral begins to speak again, his words cautious, it was clear he understands that Hux is still an authority, one that is being celebrated on this very evening. His concerns were of course thoughts that the General had entertained long before he’s thought to mention them and thus he is left to listen. He’s almost completely still as he does so, taking in the details of the other officer’s visage. “Do you believe this base is defenseless?” He asks, brow raising as amusement slips into the lines of his features. Starkiller base was one of the most heavily guarded assets the Order has, it’s location explicitly picked for it’s defensive terrain and position in it’s system. A small smile creeps onto his lips if only to return the pleasant one on Adan’s face. “You have nothing to concern yourself over for the evening Admiral, the Republic’s fleet has been annihilated and without their supplies the Rebels are nothing more than war criminals and terrorists---the Galaxy is all but ours. Let us take this chance to celebrate.” Perhaps it was to end the conversation, to slip away from another pointless discussion over the war, the Galaxy understood now that the Order held all of the cards, any planet that defied them would be eliminated. With the end of his sentence Hux drains his glass, setting it aside to be gathered by a bussdroid. At the peak of his power the General finds he’s more paranoid, watching his fellow officers for the threats they present.
“You are new to this base aren’t you Admiral?” The question surprises even him, it wasn’t like Hux to share in mindless conversation with no point to it---but perhaps the high of success leeched the human parts of him to the surface--the wants for stimulation in whatever form it came.
“I’m a simple man; I have simple desires: the complete annihilation of everyone who’s ever wronged me.”

Tarkin’s initial reaction was already to glare daggers at the younger man.
“It was never my intention to be tardy, general.” He replied, a growl colouring the last syllable. He took another step forward and winced, gritting his teeth. He was normally equally as stringent about being on time, but the ticking away of time had gnawed upon him in ways he had not anticipated.
“Let us get to the point then, yes?”
A rare chance to scold the other man was taken up without hesitation, it’s met with the disdain Hux had grown to expect. The small smile that takes up space on the young General’s lips grows just past polite. “Of course.” Hux’s voice is low as his fingers move deftly over a datapad sat just before him. The private meeting was hardly one to be scolded on, as it held no real pressure of timing. “What would you like to discuss first, Sir.”

⌜VICTORY OF FATES⌝
IT WAS YET ANOTHER FINE JEWEL IN THE FIRST ORDERS CROWN, THE FIRING OF STARKILLER BASE PROVING ONCE MORE THAT THERE WAS NO LIMIT TO WHAT THE ORDER COULD ACHIEVE. The admiral was proud to stand beside those that made this dream become reality, the lingering desire to see the Republic crumble, had followed the young man since he had begun serving the Supreme Leader. The man, to which all those well wishes should go to however, seemed OFTENTIMES overlooked. Too little respect for a man that could crush someones bones— or simply poison someones body and mind. Adan saw himself above pettiness, in fact, the admiral was the first one to congratulate the general to his success— knowing that many eyes would be LINGERING on him from that day on.
Festivities were extraordinary, the finest wines, the finest food and the music was simply thrilling. The First Order stood for structure, the embodiment of ones achievements — what the Empire could have BEEN. Although the alcohol was drowning the officers and generals into a stupor, was there one man that seemed to be out of place. Adan prided himself with his ways of detecting said things — it was something he was trained for, but it SURPRISED him nonetheless to see that it was Hux who remained sober the entire evening. Even the admiral could feel the venom of the alcohol clouding his very judgement — and Adan was Corellian.
‘‘ — It is astonishing how easily people can forget that we are STILL at war. The RESISTANCE may not have the firepower to physically harm us, but this will not stop them for long — we have harmed the heart of the Republic after all.’‘ His voice was low once it appeared behind the ginger general, there was no telling what he was getting at — given that Adan was extremely proud. But his mind was never resting, especially after todays achievement. A gloved hand, offered the general a glass, no doubt as a sign of respect.
‘‘ — But you HAVE impressed me, General Hux.’‘
Upon a stage, gilded in stark slashes of red and white, the First Order rose above the power of the New Republic. Or ---as it was. The Hosnian Cataclysm, the sight alone had been enough to strike fear or awe into anyone who was watching, and those brilliant enough to comprehend the vastness of their reach presented felt both. His life’s work the helm of approval in every man’s eye, the power high of soldiers saluting to you and what you’ve built----an empire out of ash, though all glory does not rest upon the crown of scarlet locks. He had been nursing a single drink for the better part of the congradulatory aftermath, the hosts and service droids carefully composed among officers finally granted the chance to breathe. The First Order had strict policies that were maintained on nearly ever level of power, such strictness commanded respect. But there were times where celebration was due---especially in a war. War, the subject of the room on everyone’s tongue, for the first time in decades the Galaxy held its breath to see if it may finally end. With Starkiller’s success, the Order would hold the reigns to the new structure of prosperity---the Resistance would fall just as the New Republic had-----even General Hux would toast to that. Though appearances needed to be maintained, and the promise of slipping away to the warm embrace of alcohol was a temptress too diabolical to chase this evening. Not to the extent he’s pushed himself, the decay of his health a willful sacrifice to Starkiller’s success---and now that she is operational, the General can at least temporarily rest. His eyes catch on a vaguely familiar visage, one of the new transfers to their base, the admiral had an impressive history within the Order if the General recalls. It is after all best to understand those you encounter, or at least hold a vague idea---purpose to find something you can use against them if the situation should arise. The admiral’s clever tongue catches Hux’s attention and he humms his affirmation behind a polite smile. “It appears we have not all forgotten.” He comments, silver tongued and looks over the man properly as he comes fully into view. The General shifts his stance, pride showing in the lines of his figure under the praise, “Thank you Admiral, it is my pride and duty to uphold the Order’s success.”

“You’re late.” The words are simple, clipped in irritation as Hux raises his eyes to meet the cold gaze of the other man. The hyrdraulic hiss of the ships doors closing them off from the rest of the officers in the cooridor. The meeting should have started two standard minutes ago, and Hux was a stickler for punctuality. “See it doesn’t happen again.”
screeches into the void >:( But I have lot’s of muse for Hux, so let’s hit that heart if you want a short starter !
Okay here is a plotting call ! Hit the heart and I’ll come into your IMs and we can work out a thread idea !
@solosboy said: “There’s something tragic about you.”
Tragic. What a hideous word from a hideous man. The General scowls at the force user before him, the soft words from his lips meant to cut surely. Hux does nothign but meet it with a cruel smile, peering down his nose at the mighty Ben Solo at his feet. The binders on his wrist specially designed by the Supreme Leader to ensure his pet does not cause any further damage to the First Order’s equiptment or personel. “The only tragedy present is your situation. You will kneel to the Supreme Leader and obey.” He states, eyes slipping to the officer at Ben’s side, the electric prod kept inches from his bared flesh, a warning for Snoke’s dog not to bark back. “Are you familiar with our reconditioning programs?” The haughtiness on his tongue clear through prim syllables, practiced speech of the old Empire, a display of superiority. “Perfected from the Empire’s old methods.” He goes on, fingers placed delicately skim the edge of a machine, the large crane structure a menacing display. “Not to worry if you haven’t. You will be very soon.”
