Some of Van Gogh’s best work was done during a period of his life that he spent in a hospital being treated for his mental health problems. I could be wrong but I think Starry Night was among those.
This is consistently the case. Creators tend to do their best work when they are in a healthy place and receiving proper treatment and not being self destructive in their efforts to cope. Go figure.

The joke is that "there are more molecules in a single glass of water than stars in the galaxy" is a common thing to say. So the reader immediately sees "hydrogens in a single molecule of water" and assumes that the writer of the statement has made a mistake. It can take a few readings before noticing that the writer said "stars in the solar system" and not the expected "galaxy", the writer was correct all along, it is us who is the fool. Such fun.

Stars are very, VERY far away from each other. There are no stars anywhere near us except Sol (the sun). The solar system is sol's system. Which is sol (the sun) and its planets, including us.
The furthest planet from the sun is Neptune, which is about 0.00045 light years away. The nearest other star, Proxima Centauri, is 4.25 light years away -- over 9,445 times the distance of the furthest planet. There are some dwarf planets out past Neptune, but the distance to orbiting bodies and the distance to other stars are completely different ranges of distance. Your question is like asking "is Hawai'i considered JUST the islands? Do we not count the moon and Mars and Venus and stuff as being in Hawai'i?"

Our sun is reasonably small for a star. If a lot of them were near us we would not be alive.
Here's a diagram of the solar system. It's not to scale because you wouldn't be able to see the planets if it was. The sun, which is a star named Sol, is in the middle. We are not floating around; we are circling around and around (orbiting) Sol. Whenever we make one full circle, that is one year.
The moon circles around us in the same way. Some of the other planets also have moons. Things that orbit planets like this are called 'satellites'. Satellites (including moons) go around planets, planets go around stars. There's other stuff in there, asteroid belts and dwarf planets and soforth, but we're keeping this simple.
*Technically*, everything is orbiting a centre of gravity; the sun and us are both going around our shared centre of gravity. But the sun is so very massive and we have so little mass that that's basically the same thing as us going around the sun. The sun is orbiting a mass, too, with our whole solar system going with it; we are part of a giant cluster of stars and we are orbiting the middle of that cluster along with all of the other stars. In the middle of that star cluster, we *think* there is probably a supermassive black hole. A big star cluster like this all spinning around its shared centre of gravity (and probably giant black hole) is called a 'galaxy'.
So. A planet might have some moons going around it; that's the planet's system. (For example, Mars and its moons is the Martian system). The planets go around a star, and a star with all its planets and dwarf planets and suchlike is a stellar system -- our star is Sol, so ours is the solar system. The stars go around the centre of a big cluster of stars, which is a galaxy. The galaxy we are in is called the Milky Way. We're pretty far out on one edge of it. If you zoom out even further, galaxies are clustered together into galactic groups or clusters, depending on the size. Our group is called the Local Group (because we got to name it and we live here).
We are in the Terran system which is in the Solar system which is in the Milky Way galaxy which is in the Local Group.
