{✵} — Tasuku looked around when he heard more strange noises being made after the kid had accidentally bumped into another desk, noting how another light bulb turned on by itself. The shifting sound was back, and Tasuku could now say with certainty as he stood near the cupboard that it came from within it. “Yeah…something is definitely up in this classroom.” He uttered, narrowing his eyes at the furniture.
Tasuku turned his head towards Akatsuki as the younger one asked him whether there was something on the underside of the desk near him. His curiosity piqued, the blue haired boy did just that, bending over slightly to be able to peer underneath. And sure enough, just like Akatsuki said there was some sort of symbol inscribed there. “Did the two previous desks have these as well?” He asked, half to himself and half to the other. Straightening himself up again, he put a hand to his chin and mused for a second or two before deciding to push the desk a bit.
Just as expected, soon enough a third loud click was heard at the same time as the last light switched on. This time however, one other notable thing happened: the cupboard that Tasuku’s been inspecting swung open with an ominous creak, revealing its fake back and how it lead to a hidden room. Eyes wide, he approached the entrance and peered inside — it was rather dingy and dimly-lit, and he’d need to actually step inside to start seeing what was in there. Suddenly getting a very bad feeling about this, the boy turned towards Akatsuki again.
“Akatsuki…"
“Maybe you should head back to your room? I have a feeling this might be dangerous, and I wouldn’t like anything to happen to you.” If the rumors were anything to go by, this room could’ve been holding something very eerie within it, and no kid like Akatsuki should be subject to that sort of creepiness. “You’re not supposed to be out here in the first place anyway, but I’ll let you off this one time. I won’t tell your brother or anyone else.” ~ ✩
To be honest, this was creepy, why did just hitting desks do something like this and he was sure it wasn't normal. He was a ninja so traps and other things such as that normally happened and were apart of life but if this was a trap, he didn't want them to be caught. Tasuku's previous questions were lost upon the younger as he stared at the area that was now free for them to explore, a chill running down his back and a skip of a heartbeat. There had to be something weird and even as his small legs were shaking under him, he was having a hard time moving. "B.." His word cut short as he tried thinking of what he wanted to say, his mind reeling back to what he was, a ninja.
"But.. it's ninja way that we can't just run a.. and! What if it's some trap, you'd need someone to get you out.. and.." Yeah, he was saying this but is this how Akatsuki actually felt? Scared out of his wits since he was a child of young age, he was finally able to take his first step even though as problematic as it was, he should have recalled that Tasuku wanted him to leave. Though, it would have been wrong, Akatsuki couldn't just leave him here not by any means, besides, what if other ninjas frowned on him because of this?
It was either forwards or backwards, and yet, though the door was behind him, the younger moved his legs towards the entrance that he wished that he hadn't chosen. This was a rash decision and this could have exacted a sound from the other since Akatsuki was nothing but a child, what if he got hurt because of this unusual act? First step inside was what they would have called progress, but another would have been an ideal goal. "As a ninja.. I'll check to see if it's safe!" How he wished he could make two of himself at this moment, but he was sure that he did not have enough power to do so. It was most likely scared out of him.
"You're with me and it's said by ninja law that we have to protect our company and-- AAAAAH?" Jumping up and falling on his rear-end, the child was spooked by what was inside, all sorts of dolls sat upon shelves and a weird picture propped up against the wall. The room held cobwebs and variosu spiders crawling around in them, the floor was cold or was that just Akatsuki? The cold gush of air that seemed to breathe upon his neck made him quickly hit his neck, as if wanted to hit the person who was probably breathing down his neck but there was no one. Nothing but a doll that had probably fell down from a shelf.
Although it was just a doll, he didn't want to admit that he was scared of it in which he quickly got back to his feet, kicking the doll away. That probably wasn't truly ideal.. but it wasn't as if he knew that.
