Do you ever think about how, in placing Faroe into this universe, that Arthur and John no longer belong. This is a world where Faroe has always existed. This is a world where Faroe is alive.

Arthur may not be scarred anymore, but he still feels the pain of his past. A past that has. Almost happened?

How much of it happened?

How much of Arthur Lester in this world is preserved by the change? Like when Arthur was brought back in the forest, what makes him the same or a different man?

I can understand the difficulty of explaining both his blindness and John to Faroe. The loss of "Uncle Peter," a version of Arthur's friend who he's never even met. A different time and place. Arthur swimming in the world that is technically his, but with a daughter who he cannot even begin to know.

He can't even see her.
