The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
↳  The Blue Carbuncle, Part 7
Cannot wait for the annual rewatch.
We are slowly starting to amass stuff for the home studio. Last night we went to an LED store to look for lighting for the vocal booth (#ActuallyACloset) and found LED bulbs... WITH BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS IN THEM.
When you're finished using the paint stir sticks, can you save them for me? I need them for fish.

Out-of-context requests are some of my favorites. Send some to me!
I’ll never get over that scene!
Hands. On head. Yes.
I don’t understand why he’s not everyone’s favorite person.  I really don’t.
Sadly, I missed the “rock and roll photo op” at the show I attended.
After missing them a couple times, I -finally- got to see Flight of the Conchords live. I haven’t laughed that long and hard in a good while. A little background: I have always loved FotC, as a group and individually. Then, I was working at an ad agency where the job was good, but stressful. I met Bethadriel and we discovered our mutual love for the Conchords. It became one of our “things.” We both had our guy we supported and felt like awkward kindred spirits to them and the versions of themselves from their show. We would quote it or sing to each other in the office to keep it light. Then, circumstances happened and we both had to move to separate cities far away from each other. At that point, FotC was hinting at a tour. We made a pact to go see them in whichever city worked best for us as soon as they announced. But, the tour popped up way sooner than we thought and neither of us was on our feet enough to travel. There was scrambling to budget and crunch numbers, but it just wasn’t possible. So, we had to see them separately. However, we were able to exchange city specific banter, and we got matching shirts. (I sent her pictures during the show, too.) I think her husband still doesn’t get it. However, I've ended up in a band with my other best friend who is a guitar player that makes up goofy songs as well. Thanks, guys, for sharing your humor and helping us to have a connection. Looking forward to all you do, individually and as a unit.
In the booth for @extraordinarycontraptions I have to admit... I'm a little pleased that I learned to run the board, even if I can only do a few things.
For the guys that wanted to see a Sherlock! This was fun to draw.
The crowd sings Biz Markie "Just a Friend" during the intermission at They Might Be Giants last night. Seriously, TMBG crowds are the best.
Two full glorious sets with TMBG. The best birthday gift from my bandmates!
Dan Milllllller!
You guys killed it last night!! I think this was show 17 for me, and my birthday gift this year.
the handsome devil, himself. (x)
the real favorite is all five
It is always amazing when you find someone who encompasses all five. Especially if you are lucky enough to find one in real life.
I was raised in a very tolerant Christian household. My current beliefs span metaphysics, science, logic, and faith. I sort of “believe everything” and try to look at both sides of the coin.
I have always had trouble with any part of any religion that could be defined as “evil” or “demon.” Even horror movies. “Event Horizon” was just about an alternate chaos dimension and I could barely process it.
But, damn, I am really enjoying this show, and having the most interesting an hilarious feelings of discomfort for my growing affections for old Luci as a character. I want to cheer him on ha.
While I don’t necessarily develop fangirl crushes, I do have a stable of characters that I just think are super cool and would want to be besties with. This gentleman is on the fast track.

Through a friend of a friend, I have discovered a German man creating 1920′s jazz and cabaret style covers of heavy metal music. It is pretty fantastic. Please take a moment and hear something new!
Trove #4
Apparently one of my biggest downfalls as a bass player is my lack of ability to go "whoa whoa whoa" and play at the same time.
