Passersby here, is that supposed to be Wallace's cape or just a generic cool cape? Either way, I like how this turned out as a whole. The bandages tell me Steven's been through a lot!

(I did originally have his cape closer to how Zinnia's looked in a much older drawing of him I had posted over on my main but decided to change it when redrawing him jgvfbhdjdhx) the vs sprite is part of a project I've been working on, its kinda an alt Emerald timeline that dips heavily into a what-if scenario of Saphire/AS with Kyogre not having been able to have been calmed down (it overpowered Groudon which led to Rayquaza not being able to be awakened) also sprinkled in some neat little Rainbow Rocket lore bits!

//Oooogh the paralells between Steven and his Iron Valiant (Malachite) I could go on about sooooo much

//Both of them died from the same event (Malachite, Gardevoir atthe time) died during Steven's attempt at snuffing out Aqua-Magma early while Steven himself died from his injuries just after being released

//They were both brought back with something core to themselves missing (Steven had not only chunks of his memory ripped from him but also key bits of his personality while Malachite no longer had a soul and was just a rough copy put into a robot)

//Also neither of them have a heartbeat and no longer considers themselves to be human (in Steven's case) or truely a pokemon (in Malachite's case) and instead view themselves has some kind of amalgamates
