Lightcannon Week Day 5: Crazy and Crazier // _ to Lovers

Lux sits in the same row as Jinx. But a creep sits between them.

Had a dumb idea and ran with it for Mile High. Just enjoy the ride, don't think too hard lol.

I did enjoy having this follow the princess one, given the 'handkerchief'.

Lightcannon Week Day 6: A monster inside all of us / hunter hunted

Jinx is sure there's an angle to Lux's attention. She's angry about it.

This was another tough one but I think I like the result!

Trans Jinx isn't a focus, just a fact about her in this AU, since it's from her POV. Fair warning tho, she hates herself and it manifests in ugly ways.

I'll go sleep now. I'll polish and post the last fic for the week maybe tomorrow or maybe on the proper day. It deserves non-1AM attention XD. I might not have access to tubmlr when I do post it, though, since I might do it from my phone. Idk we'll see.

Watch ao3 if you want it. It will be chapter 1 of who knows how many and be completed who knows when lol because I fell in love with it hard.

This came to mind almost fully formed, one of my favourites this year. Hope you enjoyed, and hope the "skip" of the date doesn't feel like a cheat. I could write it, at some point, and have an idea for a fun date alternative to playground for this version of these two, but no promises.

Been a while! Been very busy. Next chapter TWSNH is like partway done, had to prioritize lightcannon week and even still I'm s t r u g g l i n g.

We're making it work tho. I have something for each of the prompt days, then I'll get back to main fic and publish next chapter maybe by end of August.

You know what's silly tho, one of days is gonna end up needing to be a longer thing XD. Fell in love with it and could not give it a proper conclusion in time.

I'm going to be busy the next two months, and with Lightcannon week upcoming (I want to do the whole week again this year!), the next chapter probably will take another good amount of time. :'( I'll try my best!

Hi folks! It's that time of year again! Join as we once again build up to Lightcannon Week! Last year's Week was an unprecedented success and I can't wait to see what you'll come up with this time! The dates will remain the same as last year, July 24th-31st in order to give us all time to work on our creations. So as a first step we'll be polling the community for prompts. The LC Week Discord server has very helpfully come together to help me compile this list of potential prompts. Here's how it'll work:

Choose prompts you want to see on this year's Lightcannon Week.

We will not be repeating prompts from last year so as to not double up.

The top two prompts from each Day's choices will be selected as options for each day.

Unused prompts will go back in the pool for next year.

Day Eight will be a Free Day.

The Poll will end Sunday 25th May, so be sure to get your vote in!

Hope everyone's doing well. Drink water, eat some healthy food and move around. Then let me know your thoughts. <3 I had this one beta-read by a friend to make sure it makes sense and hits the right notes, but at a certain point words are just words and I don't know anymore.

I *think* chapters will shrink back to a reasonable size after this, but who am I to say lol, the beach episode wasn't even in the original plan. What I can say is we'll return to the regularly scheduled slice-of-life on and off soon. Because good and bad times both come and go. :)

Note that I added a couple tags for things that are/will be mentioned in case they're triggers for anyone.

Walk. Swim. Cry.

Hi again! Happy new year!

Fun fact: The first draft of this was <5k words. I cut a whole chunk, and then it grew to 7k. Then I added it back in making 12k (Yes I know that math doesn't add up)... And then when I went to edit it... Well you see the wordcount in the update.

I really wanted to post this end of December but line editing 15k words is *hard*, and I'm sure I could have done more. I want to say I'll post once a month, to make myself stick to it, but I don't know how long I could keep that up. Tentative!

Finally added number of chapters, though that's also tentative. I'm thinking series of this with the Twin Stars one shots and 'What is holy...' (and anything else I might end up adding) might be 'Snapshots in Bloom'. What do y'all think of that?

Anyway. I'm morbidly excited about the next one. It'll hurt. Hopefully. But if I pull it off it'll be beautiful.

Sharing it is terrifying, but that's not a bad thing.

It's Jinx's birthday, and Lux wants her all pretty like. But Jinx... Well she's gotta end the day her way.

FYI: This is in "These Wounds need Healing", but quite a bit ahead of where I'm at with posting it. If you don't want to read it till that fic catches up, I will point out in the notes on the right chapter to jump over here to read it. Shouldn't be a problem though, what's in here are only teasers anyway, not spoilers. A lil bit of insight into Jinx POV too.

I was inspired to sort of put them in each other's shoes for their birthdays. Next time, Jinx gives Lux a taste for destruction.

I'll put "These Wounds Still Need Healing", this and the next one, and "What is holy if not you and me together?" into a series as soon as I come up with a name for it lol.

Also, next chapter for TWSNH is basically done, I just had to travel and also it ballooned to be much longer than the first draft XD

Lux is kickstarting up a photography career, and her lens keeps focusing on one specific guest. She doesn't know it yet, but Jinx is the key to the rest of her life.

This was the first lightcannon fic I wrote, just after I finished Arcane and fell into Lightcannon brainrot.

If you've read my "What is holy if not you and me together?" You can treat this as the way those two met and fell in love (unless there are inconsistencies in which case I never said this what are you talking about).

Jinx here is sort of post-arcane in a modern AU sort of way. Been through a lot, but has been working on healing.

Lux's life has recently fallen apart, so she's a bit of a mess, but she'll grow into her usual hopeful self over time.

I have a bunch of chapters written to be edited, and I'm posting this to make myself finish it. But anyway, each chapter should be self-contained, like a date/event per chapter, especially the first one, so don't be afraid of the unfinished and ? for chapter number lol.
