Okay, but now you've got me thinking about constangreen and steelwave double dates where Gary and Nate are actually trying and Mick and Constantine are (being) TRYING.

i tried to write a ficlet for this but then brain machine broke so have some headcanons instead:

mick asks gary to show him the best jewish deli in star city because snart knew all the good ones and mick hasn’t had a good pastrami on rye since uuhh you know, that thing, that happened, that we don’t discuss

this is how gary finds out that mick is also jewish, bringing the total of jewish legends up to 4: ray, sara, wally, mick

so obviously john comes along because mick is WAY too scary for gary to go anywhere with him, and nate invites himself along because he’s nate and he wants some snacks (and also to pester mick)
