Hot take: The freedom fighters should not return in the games.

I don't hate the Freedom Fighters or anything, it's just that it wouldn't really work. They'd either have to retcon the existing timeline or have it so that they don't know Sonic at all.

Idk if this is a hot take or not but I don't really mind IDW's Sonic comics.
