If I were a poet, I would describe this medium size coffee shop as my shy yet cozy darling. Located around Cipete, SRSLY offers you a comfortable environment where you can either seriously work or joyfully enjoy your pastime.
I had the chance to order espresso on the rocks, cappuccino and honey ice latte. The espresso was a champion, I could taste the arabica scent through my nose and the acidity was also fine. The espresso is perfect if you are there for a serious game, such as working.
The cappuccino was served in a cute green cup, the little drawing on the foam was nice and satisfying. But I could barely taste the coffee as the cappuccino was a bit milky, let alone the espresso. Cappuccino is for those who wish to just have a good time in the cafe, it could also be your romantic companion.
The honey ice latte was sweet, milky and refreshing. The taste of honey stood above all else, which means the coffee was not really tastable. It was a bit too sweet, maybe, for my taste. Honey ice latte is perfect for those who want to drink sweets with a little bit of coffee taste.
SRSLY is a bit humble in marking its coffee shop. There was no obvious sign noticeable enough from running car. I missed the coffee shop and had to make a u-turn. The street around the cafe is not wide enough, adding the difficulty in accessing the cafe in time of traffic craziness. I visited this cafe during holiday season, the traffic was not too bad.
The parking lot is decent. It can fit around twelve cars. It has a dedicated parking staff, who can actively assist in parking department, including looking for temporary parking lot if there is no space. Unfortunately, the parking staff cannot park a car by himself, he would call you if you car is blocking another car.
SRSLY has a minimalist yet cozy environment. The wood-dominated materials support a cozy environment with some additional sofas here and there. The cafe’s interior is suitable for youngster and millennials alike, artsy and cool. I could hear familiar music as well, invigorating me to finish my work at hand. I could also see a cat freely roaming around the smoking area, nice addition for cat lover.
All in all, I like the espresso and interior of SRSLY. Like I said, SRSLY is my shy yet cozy darling.
