These two donāt get along at all! They are good parents, but he rejects all of her advances (they autonomously tried for baby when I had it enabled !). Ā This is why I think she needs a new start new save. Perhaps. They are also very poor right now...
Pictures of the Sims 4 ISBI Challenge. Definitely easier on the Sims 4 than 2, however Iām having a problem with the characters freezing for hours until their next action (ANNOYING). Ā I had culling disabled in Mc Command Ctr and just turned it off so hopefully the game will clean it up a bit? Otherwise Iām going to bring them to a brand new save and play there. Ā (It could also be all my CC but NOO I LOVE IT)

Yes the lot had thatĀ ātwins more likely trait.ā I downloaded the starter Sim and lot from the gallery and what happens- TRIPLETS. No interference on my part :(. Iām gonna finally go download some toddler CC and see how this play goes.

Welcome Peter Landgraab IV (they changed to his name when they married and I canāt bother to change them again).
He aged up to a child from a toddler twice (bc my game keeps crashing)- the first time he grew up badly, the second time I had him potty trained, walking, and talking, and he aged up OK.
But hereās where we run into some problems... (besides my Sim not having any mechanical skill and always hiring the repair man.. oops). Ā Peter starts failing (I can only have her help him with his homework, and since sheās a nurse on the night shift, one of them was always sleeping when she tried). Ā He also went hungry unless I called to meal, and was always dirty. Ā Little brat. Ā You suck, Peter.
I had deleted a bunch of cc/mods, got the game working decently again, and she had baby #2- a girl named Jessa, shortly after. (damn Sims 2 pregnancies are quick)
Hereās Peter sleeping in a bush?? I noticed his needs were way down and he was not coming when called to meal. Ā He was stuck here. I had to delete the trees. Come on Peter, really?! Now I am getting a notification that he is failing school.
Tried as Matilda might to help her son with his homework, but to no avail. Ā Social Services was here to pick up the worst student at school. Ā With him, goes his new baby sister, Jessa.
The game took my kids. -_- Then it crashed! How TF am I supposed to keep my kids if they wonāt do their homework or go to school autonomously at least half the time? :(Ā
Iām not having MORE kids, and since the game crashed Iām going to try to do better. Maybe Matilda needs to work from home for a little while and worry about money later.

Alright! I found whatās called the Hack Conflict Detection Utility (HCDU) tool for detecting conflicting Mods in The Sims 2! There were several conflicts, no wonder it was crashing! Hereās hoping itās fixed.
Aaand my game just froze and quit during a save :( fml
editā AHH I had a weird folder in my downloads folder, from like another game on the computer? Ā I also removed Inteenimater and forgot to take out one of the pieces! oops! Maybe that was it? Ugh
Gonna repair the game in origin as well then test it out before I play too long again.

Malcolm Landgraab IV?? Iāve literally never played any of EAās families, all I know is that the Landgrabbs are rich, and I deleted the ~20k simoleons he brought when he moved in.
They still owe almost 400k on the house (used Moniqueās computer to take out a loan and cheated away the $ after giving them the house, then I switched the loan to Cyjonās Loan Jar bc the interest rate was stupid high on the computer. Ā Their children will be inheriting a lot of debt. I just never liked building, and itās not fun or flexible like the Sims 4 building is so I downloaded it off of The Sims Resource! Itās 4bed 4 bath and has bedrooms for 3 children! I will only be doing 2 per generation though.
And maybe puppies if I ever let these two age up! I will have to leave aging off until the kid ages up, but I wanted more time to develop Matildaās career and interests. We will see. Itās annoying I donāt think Malcolm will get a promotion, but we will see. I may have him change his job to a non-cc career.Ā
My game is not short on CC or Mods! I got one for food to never spoil, because you canāt click and drag food in and out of the fridge like you can in 4, so that eliminates that annoyance. A few other things like that were added.
Ā Lets hope they donāt wreck my save file!

Once my Aunt had a Spanish-only speaking patient come in to have a baby on her floor. The patient didnāt speak any English at all and her labor had arrived sooner than they had expected, so she didnāt have anyone with her to help. When my Aunt got there, the nurses on duty were in a frenzy of fury over how āthe illegalā in the room didnāt speak any English, how she was just here to have an anchor baby, how she was going to steal their taxes through welfare, how she was having bastard children, etc, right in front of the woman while smiling to her the whole time, talking to her slowly in English and treating her as though she were stupid and ignorant. Since my Aunt was fluent she was the go-to for translating and finally got to break down the language barrier and speak with their mystery patient. Turns out she was a world famous physics doctor from Argentina who had come to the US to help her husbandās dying father. She had international awards, had been invited to the White House, and ran her own foundation for orphaned teenage girls back in her home country. But there she was, stuck in the corner in an OBGYN ward in Utah, being insulted and ignored because people assumed she was some ignorant illegal come in to have an anchor baby, simply because between all the other stuff this woman had done with her life, she hadnāt picked up English - though she also did speak fluent French. Of course, moral of the story is that NO ONE should ever be treated like that, but the thrust of it is relevant to this snippet from Modern Family. Iāll never forget that story, ever, and I kept it close to my heart the entire time I was on the nursing floor as a student.
