how it started → how it's going
⚠ sappy self-reflection ahead it's been roughly one year since i first fell in love with jack abbot and as a result anything shawn hatosy does. 🫣 i had already pushed myself artistically with scene illustrations for my silly boondock saints series. but it's because of the pitt, jack abbot, and shawn hatosy's portrayal of him and so many other wonderful characters that inspired me to grow as an artist and visualize all of these different ideas that have invaded my brain. there's so much more i want to do and explore in my work, both visually and narratively. while i still want to keep writing and get back to the works still in progress, drawing and illustration will be my focus for the time being. it's been the best outlet for me and something i can do while taking care of my son. all that to say, this blog and what i share will start to look a little different over the next few weeks. in the meantime, you can still learn a bit more about me here, and access my current masterlist here. please bear with me, and know i appreciate all of you who have put up with me and my shenanigans. much love 🩵 —k
