Oh god, yes. Going off of canon this would be a terrible situation. This AU has a very different take from canon because I don’t see David hooking up with somebody who would willingly neglect their kids

How r david and amir getting along?

Near the beginning there's definitely a bit of sore feelings, jealousy (the fear of him "taking Divya back" from him) from David, and envy (desiring a closer relationship to Max like David has) from Amir

But after a while I imagine they become friends, to some degree! Amir's definitely got some work to do to improve himself since he's kinda full of himself, but he really is well-intentioned

Reference of Divya in her 30s!!

At this point, her and David had been married for about 3 years?? Max is well into his teens, and she and David might’ve had a kid together 🤫 She’s definitely gained some weight, happy weight! David has, too!

Anyways, this also serves as a better look at some of her tattoos, she def has more scattered around, but I really wanted to show off her c section coverup tat 💕

How do you think Max first reacted to David and Divya becoming a thing?

He was very shocked, almost betrayed, in a way?

His mom, his camp counselor? Two worlds that were never meant to collide in such a way, and that boy hates change.

He was begging it was some sort of prank by his mother, cause like?? She's immature enough to pull such a thing on her own child, maybe David was totally in on it to get back at him for being such an asshole over the summer?

But, no! They legit bounce off of each other very nicely! Divya gets David to loosen up a little, David helps straighten her out and helps her connect with her son on his own level.

So Max just feels kinda... Iffy, on the whole situation?
