Stand By Me (crossover :ANM)
“That’s your dad talking” and “You saying you want to go back?”
(Tried to use them in different context than the movie. Enjoy!)
“What the hell Ally!” Cashel shoved her off the tracks after she made yet another stupid and unnecessarily offensive joke.
“Hey hey! Calm down, I was only messing with ya,” She chuckled as she poked her side.
Ladaysha erupted in a short shriek and they heard Wesli laugh, “Ha! Two for flinching!” And proceeded to punch her in the arm twice.
“Jesus, we are so immature,” Cashel rolled her eyes, ignoring them.
“Oh whatever,” Ally chuckled running up ahead a ways before turning to walk backwards in front of them.
“So what’s new?” She jokes messing with the dog tags hanging loosely over her neck.
“I don’t think this whole thing is such a great idea, Ally…” ladaysha frowned.
“You saying you want to go back?” Ally shook her head, “What are you a little baby?”
“No it’s not that. This is just a really dumb idea,” Cashel agreed, “We should go back..”
“How is it dumb? We’re gonna get famous!” Ally laughed abruptly stopping to step off the tracks and beckon the others to join her.
A short train rolled by and soon they were back where they had started.
“Maybe we’re not cut out for this,” Wesli sighed.
“Not you too!” Ally threw her hands in the air, “We’re in the prime of our youths! This is as cut out for it as we’ll get!”
“We’re just a bunch of kids. Kids are nothing without their parents,” Cashel shook her head.
“That’s just your dad talking,” Ally sneered.
“Oh yeah? Well your dad’s just a looney!” Cashel insulted.
Ally moved forward, “My dad is NOT just a looney! He stormed the back at Normandy!”
She took such offense over her dad. Cashel couldn’t understand it. After all her dad was in an insane asylum and had nearly burned her entire ear off in a drunken rage which would one day prevent her from serving her country as she longed to do.
“Okay, Okay, back up,” Wesli stepped in.
“Let’s just keep walking,” Ladaysha sighed.
