A woman shouldn’t be judged soley on her looks when you consider her value as a human.  But I will 100% appreciate her curves, lips, eyes, legs, and the way she moves/handles herself.  Women are fucking beautiful and I find new things that make me appreciate their form every day including my fiance’s pregnant belly.  Women are life.  I love women.  I love life.

Guilty Pleasures That We Should Drop As a Society

As a society, we have so many guilty pleasures that we indulge in. Individually, these guilty pleasures often vary from person to person. These guilty pleasures can range from food to pop culture. To be honest, many of us have guilty pleasures that we could drop from our lives to become better citizens.  Yes. I also have guilty pleasures that I should drop in favor of becoming a more informed citizen. 

TL;DR: We should care less about pop culture and more about the issues wrong with society and the world. 

It is no secret that many people know more about pop culture than the conflicts occurring in this world. And I am guilty of this. In fact, I would say that view magazine articles and the like is a mode of escape from the humdrum of my daily life. But, this knowledge of Celebrities does not do me any good with the rest of my life. 

I mean, I could be spending this time to become more educated on the world affairs happening today. And I'm sure that these affairs should take more precedence over Kanye West naming his child, North West. I just want to know why there is so much hype about celebrities when there is so much distraught situations in the world. 

Recently, I have been watching many BBC documentaries on the lost, the underprivileged, and the forgotten. There are so many people in this world who could benefit from the extra attention and resources that we could actually provide them. How much money do you think People magazine makes from their publications of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian? I'm sure that it is an insane amount. What if this money went to orphans within the USA?

As a society, I just don't think we have our priorities straight. And I am embarrassed to say that I also fall within this category. I want to make a difference in my life. But, it is obviously easier said than done. 

I think that first steps would include making myself a better person by becoming more knowledgeable about world affairs. In addition to this, I feel like I should be trying to benefiting the community through volunteer work. I have not truly volunteered since high school. And it is a true activity I miss.

The Truth About Work And School From My Point Of View

To be very honest, I do not enjoy work nor school. Yet, I am very fortunate to be able to obtain both because of the privileges I have grown up with. This is the truth. 

TL;DR: Education and Careers are more about obtaining the highest GPA, rather than gaining the knowledge necessary to be a master of your craft.

I am currently going in to my Junior year at university. And I have also obtained an internship position for the Summer of 2013. I am very lucky to have the opportunity to attend university. Unlike a lot of my peers, my parents are paying for all of my expenses. This includes food, housing, tuition, etc. For this, I am extremely grate. Also, I am very lucky to have obtained an internship related to my major. I am receiving an education and I have the starting basis to make my career because I have now gained some experience. But, I know others are not so lucky. In fact, I feel like I am taking these two awesomely opportunities for granted. 

I especially feel this way because I don't find too much passion in either. I used to love school. However, the ideas of tests and scores has turned my love for learning into something less. I study because I need to. I learn because I feel forced to. Honestly, I feel as if I am going through the motions of life without really gaining the knowledge I need. I feel kind of like a lifeless being in the realm of education.  Also, I've decided that I have not truly enjoyed working at a company where the median age is 50. That is the median age! I am only 20. It feels like a lonely environment where I have fallen into the motions of boredom. I realize that this sort of job is extremely painful for me. But, it is not always easy to follow your true passion. Honestly, I am not really sure what my true passion is at this point. I think ENGINEERING is so cool. But, it is currently hard for me to learn the material because of the way that the education system is set up.  I feel the need to make the grade, rather than learn the material effectively. And I know that I am not the only one who feels this way. In this day, it almost seems that GPA is more important for finding a career than having actual knowledge. That is not to say that I am completely clueless in my field of study, but I feel like I haven't absorbed the knowledge that I need for the future.  Sorry. I just haven't posted in Tumblr for a while. I just felt like ranting about one of my problems at the moment.
