This was taken on an outing to Craster.
I was concentrating on taking photographs of closer aspects of the harbour with all the boats and fittings and this white blue just stood out in the sunshine.

Causeway
This was another image taken at Cramond on the causeway to Cramond Island.
I loved the directional sign on the aging concrete surrounded by the blues of the sky and the sea.
Sentinel
This was one of my earliest ever digital images taken with an EOS 350D, I loved the clarity that this sensor had.
This is a concrete sentinel along the causeway between Cramond and Cramond Island

Cyanotype
This photograph was taken in Middlesbrough in 2012 and had sat around doing nothing like a lot of my photographs, but I thought that it would make a great black and white negative with enough contrast for the cyanotype to work well, and I love it so much it still has pride of place on my pinboard above my workspace.
Sunny Sunday
This was taken as part of me learning about my new iPhone camera which has a whopping 48Mp sensor and allegedly improved software, and I have to say I’m impressed so far.
A sunny Sunday morning with raking light giving soft shadows to the wall.
This was taken near Reeth, almost a complete accident, stopped the car to plan a walk, leaned on a wall and the Curlew was on the other side of the wall. Luckily I had my camera to hand.
Teesdale
This was taken as I was driving home from a day out in Teesdale taking photographs, it was a quiet evening with the sun slowly dropping to the horizon and the contrasts were wonderful.
Nurse of Pain
Taken at Whitby Goth Festival at the top of the stairs after everyone has made the climb
