hallo just thought iād update from my previous post
seems like things are fine now. i still get sad sometimes tho but thatās life haha. i remember running across this video on fb where this guy uses the art of kintsugi to describe his philosophy of life where there is beauty in broken things. (rly gud video! wud recommend. i couldnāt find it tho so i couldnāt link it)
also, despite the things that happened last semester, i was still able to finish strong. iām quite happy about that. on the other hand, iāve been feeling more and more like a grandpa lately--i forgot how to have fun LOL. hopefully this summer will be funĀ
BUT YEAH I THINK IāM GOOD NOW YAY ME. FUCK EVERYTHING ELSE. I AINāT NO PUSSY ASS LITTLE BITCH. THE WORLD IS MY OYSTER.
peace. also if youāre reading this, maybe we can reconnect and get food or something. this is my first summer free without any school LOLĀ
hi not sure where to post this but decided tumblrĀ was a safe place.
this week has been really hard on me as everything took a complete 180. hereāsĀ to remaining hopeful and wishing things will work out in the end, whatever the outcome.
also finals are in 2-3 weeks lol
goodbyeĀ i hope i bring good news the next time i post hereĀ

what i thought about ronald reagan... when i was a child and now
i remember as a kid i used to look up to ronald reagan.Ā āheās my favorite president!!ā i would say
there was never really any good reasons behind my liking of him. it was just that in 4th grade i had to do a project on presidents and it so happened that ronald reagan was the president i was given to work onĀ
one time at my dadās work, i got into this conversation with another customer about presidents and politics and i told him ronald reagan was my favorite president
the customer looked at me with a strange face and said,Ā āreally? after all that he has done to the economy? weāre still trying to fix what heās done to this country when he was president.ā
i kinda shut up after that lol. i was only like 10 at the time, and i had no good reason to argue with the man since i didnāt know any betterĀ
now fast forward 10 years, iām slowly started to unravel all the reasons why people hate reagan (reaganomics, his firm stance on the war on drugs, etc)
but man, especially his wholeĀ āwar on drugsā campaign that he put forward. iāve been readingĀ āThe New Jim Crowā (which is a good book that describes Ā institutionalized racism today), and it really connects the dots to why there is such a high incarceration rate of people of color today. itās the different legislations that were put forth one after the other that really produced the shit show we have today which we call institutionalized racism
and hey, maybe iām wrong, especially since iām basing my sources off of only one book that may seemĀ āoutright biased,ā but the author of this book, Michelle Alexander, does present one hell of a convincing argument and itās just got me thinking.
but yeah, hallo. if youāve come this far and went through the trouble of clickingĀ āread more,ā feel free to discussĀ
