Goodnight sweet Tan Po Po Prince 😢 #tanpopo #tanpoponomomo #anotherblowtotheheartofmountlawley (at Tan Po Po)
Finally started the original Fantagraphics run of Usagi Yojimbo. Loving it. Also, how great is this cameo with Groo.
The great, Canadian artist-extraordinaire and possible Norse demigod, Mike Rooth ( @uncouthrooth ) has lovingly crafted this amazing rendition of Hellboy in his Anung Un Rama form. I'm very humbled by this piece; all that amazing detail put into it. Thanks so much again to Mike for all his efforts! Seek him out, if you haven't already done so. It's been a busy couple of months; I'll put up some of my Supanova photos soon.

I don't always do Pop Vinyl, but when I do, it's the Sorcerer Supreme! #doctorstrange #stephenstrange #popvinyl
Picked this up at my local bookshop today on a spur, as I've heard plenty of great things about @nobrowpress ; I fell in love with the illustration and colour palette (it all reminds me of Hergé's Tintin). Anyways, really enjoying this, and I'd recommend looking towards Nobrow books if you're looking for a visual narrative treat. #howtosurviveinthenorth #nobrow #nobrowpress #comics #comic #indiecomics #altcomics #alternativecomics #recommendedcomic
Continuing on the thread of things to be extremely grateful for; I was very fortunate to commission comics artist Ryan Kelly ( @funrama ) once more. The idea was a two to three character piece of the Savage Land Ladies (Rogue, Storm, and Shanna the She-Devil), inspired by the classic Uncanny X-Men run. Ryan was kind enough to oblige, and managed to work on this piece in-between his very busy schedule of regular comic sequential work. Ryan has delivered this most STUNNING completed piece, with such an amazing warm colour palette. You're almost transported straight to the Savage Land when gazing into the background. Kudos to Ryan - again, check out his work at funrama.blogspot.com
I still can't believe it happened. I walked into my local second-hand book store and find they have several shelves of long-since out of print issues of some of the most groundbreaking comics of the Indie/Alternative genre of the 80/90's. Jaime Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, Daniel Clowes, Seth, Dylan Horrocks, Charles Burns. There's even some Jack Kirby classic FF, and some reprints of the amazing EC Comics of the 50's. I had to leave behind all other amazing books that I knew of, otherwise I would've emptied my account taking them all home. An amazing find!

Enjoying some early, classic Iron Fist tales last night. I don't really have an affinity for the Kung Fu era, as it's before my time, but I can still appreciate it for it's time.
No Pokemon here. Just a regular-ass gym photo.
