My midterm project at my apprenticeship. A cabinet made of veneer plywood veneered in oak. Waxed.
My little workshop (shared with a really good friend of mine). Today we put lamps on the ceiling and next week another desk to work is the goal! Hopefully we can work soon on our own little projects. Have so much in my mind!
My sweet "new" carpenter's bench. I am really exited to restaurate and work on her!!
My first real big cabinet. I am really proud of this accomplishment.
My first real order for an customer. Hexagonal cups for cuterly in a restaurant.
Made this in school as part of the machinerylessons. Is supposed to be a keyholder or something similar but just stands on a shelf. Made of pine (PNSY) and red beech (FASY) and oil was applied. The beak is made of nut (JGNG).
Another pen holder I made for a friend. Wood is Tchitola (african wood). Oil was applied to get the most out of the colour.
A little pen holder I made of Padouk, an african wood, which has one of the most stunning colours I have seen on wood (but it gets greyish after some time). Made this for the birthday of my dad. Oil needs to be applied to give the colour some extra fire.
Two japanese chisel I bought from ebay to try the japanese style.
My first attempts in carving. Still in progress. (Wood is cherry)
