I finally allowed myself some time to make art that isn’t for other people, and the results naturally was another Severus Snape - post war and in snowy Hogsmeade on New Year’s Eve, because that is an aesthetic I very much dig. ❄️✨❤️ (Obviously I’m imagining this is what Hermione is seeing while they watch fireworks or go for a stroll through the beautifully lit up village.)

I know I make fan art of Snape all the time, but it occurred to me I’ve never uploaded a single portrait of Alan Rickman, which is not okay, because I’m such a fan of all his work I’ve seen. And as I really need to practise my portrait skills, here is one in a style I hadn’t tried before. Rest In Peace, you wonderful human! ❤️
