I truly fucking love that out of all the people in the group to try and reach out to Pike at her breaking point, It's percy.

And it's 100% because Percy's been at that same ledge Pike has now crossed over.

Just pure blind vengeance. Your world has literally been torn asunder, you have nothing else to live for and the only thing you have on your mind is to kill what's actively hurting you.

Percy's been there before and now has to watch as it consumes Pike as well.
