consider: House and Wilson are talking on the phone. House is bored and wants to have phone sex. Wilson is at work or otherwise can't do that, so he just starts talking about his day bc maybe that'll discourage House from jerking off while they talk anyway

But, if anything, Wilson's attempt at discouraging House actually encourages him so much, and he's just jerking off on the phone while Wilson pretends not to notice. Wilson is acting like house's noises on the other end are actual well-reasoned responses (Wilson says "I had a chicken salad from the cafeteria for lunch", House's breath audibly hitches, then Wilson says "Yeah, it was pretty disappointing. Not enough dressing", etc)

Then, plot twist—turns out Wilson wasn't at work. He was just being a little shit on purpose. Maybe this entire phone call was one he made as he drove to House's place so they can have actual (not phone) sex
