Tony isn't allowed to get anywhere near Rogers, though. Nobody is. Howard's orders. All Tony knows is that Rogers had been frozen in close proximity to something called "Schmidt's scepter" for decades before Howard found him, and that for some reason related to that mysterious fact, gaining access to the revived supersoldier isn't gonna be easy.
But the rebellious 17 year-old omega never got an order from Howard that he wasn't itching to disobey.

After being successfully reverted back to his normal moral self, Tony Stark is tasked with trying to prevent the next incursion in an entirely new way. One that requires magic, infiltration, and of course, his former best friend who wants nothing to do with him.
Reluctantly together, Steve and Tony enter incursion planet Earth-6006.
But the Earth-6006 they discover is a grotesque mirror of Earth-616, one that neither Steve, nor Tony may find themselves capable of escaping. In fact, they may just carry it back home with themselves.
A mile out from where the magic is dragging them, from what would be San Francisco, there’s a security wall. Spanning hundreds of kilometers, the drones are casually placed, floating on the ocean waves. Nigh on indistinguishable matte gray from the shifting blue unless you knew what you were looking for, unless you’d penned this prototype on a plane over the Atlantic three years earlier and never gotten around to building it.
Not enough safe non-violent applications. Somehow, he doesn’t think that’s a discouraging factor for this universe’s Tony Stark.
Beside him, Steve reaches for the controls and Tony shakes his head. Steve tsks under his breath.
No. Tony taps the back of Steve’s hand and gets a glare for it. He gives his own glare back.
“We have to go through. No disturbances.”
“Don’t tell me what to do,” Steve says, to a point about a foot to the left of Tony’s shoulder.

hello, just received my assignment! i'm just confused about how our offers on the sign-up form factor into everything? are these just used for mods to determine how to distribute assignments, but aren't prompts that actually get used in the exchange?
Usually when we run the exchanges, the offers are not exactly what is written by the gifter or art drawn by the artist, but serve as a guideline on what the person is willing to write/draw. I apologize that we didn't clarify this!
When we match, we use the ao3 generator and then re-shuffle manually based on people's DNW/not willing to write. In case there are any issues, we ask people to contact us as soon as possible so we can reshuffle/reassign. If you would like reassignment, please let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate!
This event focuses on creating dark/angst fics and art for the Steve/Tony pairing this upcoming February. What "dark" means is open to interpretation for each creator. There are no limits to the content you produce. However, all fanworks must be appropriately tagged. This term is very ambiguous, so it is left up to the discretion of the creator as to what they are comfortable creating. Think in relation to AO3's big warnings: Graphic Depictions of Violence, Major Character Death (MCD), Underage, and Rape/Non-Con. Some common themes might include but are not limited to: psychological trauma, gore, vore, (body) horror, emotional manipulation, MCD, abuse, non-consensual body modification/drug use, dub-con, non-con, gaslighting, betrayal, and more.
Do I have to make a work to get a gift for this event?
Yes, since this is a gift exchange all participants are required to create a work for another participant to get one in return.
Requirements:
Artists must submit an original piece for the event, either traditional or digital work.
Writers must submit a minimum of 2,500 words. There's no maximum cap.
