actually can i say something really quick. can people stop taking things out of context just to make it whatever it is seem more jarring or triggering when they’re like, trying to prove how “problematic” something is. yes, there are situations in which something simply existing in and of itself is inherently harmful and triggering, i won’t argue against that, but you guys HAVE to understand that in many other cases, context is actually important, and erasing the context of something, either purposefully or out of a lack of incentive to do actual research, to make it seem more triggering (than it would’ve been with context) to the group that’s actually being affected by what you’re claiming the content affects can sometimes do more harm than good.
