Superrr late to this LOL but I finally finished my redraw of the Shadow comic panel that was a trend a while back! You know I had to pair it with an MCR song from Danger Days because of the album’s 15th anniversary.

Rest assured that I have not died or left the fandom LOL just had a lot going on irl and I typically finish pieces very slowly. I have to say I’m extremely proud of this piece and it is probably my favorite thing that I’ve made. Thank you so much to my roommate @blanc-ci for helping me figure out the shading and giving me suggestions, you’re a real one 👑

I’m planning to sell this one as a poster print (with a few other pieces as well) at an upcoming con at the end of June as a trial for vending and am really excited to see how stuff moves. I’m also trying to get a few more pieces done before June in order to add those to my stock as well, so hopefully that means I will have more art to post shortly and not go another handful of months without posting ❤️‍🩹

After like two weeks of working on and off I’ve finished the ref for my Mobian sona / Sonic The Hedgehog OC, Project! I’m very happy with him and the lore I’ve been cooking for him 🤩 can you tell he has trauma and a spotty memory at best

I forgot to include it on his ref but his ears are cropped. I do know what the classified name for his project was, but it’s top secret info 🤭 (Also, a peak at what is under the blacked out part at the top is that he is a hedgehog x doberman mobian, with black arms DNA as well ofc 🙂‍↕️ Don’t tell anyone at G.U.N. that I told you that 🤫)

In love with a falling star 💫

I think this is the first fanart I’ve made in genuinely like 10+ years but this franchise has a SERIOUS chokehold on me. I have truly never felt so connected to a character before as I do to Shadow the Hedgehog. It has transcended hyper-fixation territory into collection and special interest territory for me these past couple of months.

I have a lot of big feelings about Shadow in general, but also specifically super form Shadow. I think he truly expects it to be the end for him after he takes his inhibitor rings off, decides to sacrifice himself for the greater good, and hopes he gets to finally see Maria again in doing so. I tried my best to translate that in this piece, along with how Sonic feels about the whole situation as well.

I’m honestly really proud of this piece and I’m considering getting it printed at some point to potentially sell or just to have up in our house. I’m especially happy with how Sonic came out. I don’t do art often anymore, and even less so do I do full pieces. But I’m slowly working back into it, and the idea for this was rattling around in my brain for a few days before I committed. I would confidently say to expect more Sonic The Hedgehog related fanart in the future =u=
