Visiting Barcelona (Jan 2024) was a dream I had long cherished, especially as a fan of Dan Brown's Origin. Seeing Gaudí’s masterpieces like Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, Sagrada Família, and Parc Güell up close was an incredible experience. It was once a jaw-dropping moment. Learning about the intricate details, like the Gaudí pavement on Barcelona’s streets, made it all the more fascinating.

The city’s vibe pulled me in completely. One afternoon, I strolled from coast to coast at Barceloneta Beach after the rain, the air fresh and the view serene. Welcomed by a vibrant purple skies and rainbow. Later, I indulged in the OG paella and pimientos, yummy in every bite. Every moment felt as surreal as I’d imagined.

Visiting Barcelona during winter was probably one of the best experiences I had.

it’s strange that i truly love someone but my heart is constantly aching every time i think about us; the future.

Since I was a kid, I never received compliments from my parents. Even as basic as, “You did great” or “Yes, you’re beautiful”. They tend to give me and my siblings silent treatment. I am so used to that, I grew up with that fact.

And now, when my lover gives me those compliments on a daily basis, I always wanted to cry.. It’s because the “ah finally” and “so this is how it feels” feeling. The feeling that I always long for, even I didn’t know how it felt back then.

I’m truly thankful for him. In 2018 I wrote the things that happened between us; our struggle, the lessons learned, ups and downs. And in 2023, the universe let us meet once again, after 5 years of being on our own selves.

Whenever on call or whenever we see each other, he never missed to say as basic as, “I love you” or “Why is my girl so pretty!?”.

My heart feels heavy, eyes are swollen, and my mind is buzzing with emotions. Only tears can best describe all of the chaos my thoughts have made.

Jeon Jungkook, once again thank you. You are the one who dragged me into this loving family--army--so I get chances of meeting super kind and cool people here who always support each other and support Bangtan. I still remember vividly how your soothing voice during NPR Tiny Desk Concert gave me goosebumps.

Thank you, ggukie. I always wish you good things in life, happiness, health, and warmth.
