it’s day 353. i had a bad day today. i don’t know. i…i guess i wish you were here.
Steve Harrington + yelling
Just be careful alright? I can’t lose you again. You won’t lose me. Do you promise? Promise.
#No but this moment literally killed me. For an entire year, Mike had no idea where Eleven was, or if she was even alive. And even though he never gave up hope, we saw how much her loss affected him: calling her every day, not being able to take down her fort, thinking he was crazy because he kept seeing her, closing himself off to new people. But then finally, finally, after a year he is reunited with her. Then moments later she has to leave him again, to save them all, which is how he lost her the first time. And you can see it on his face, how it is absolutely killing him to let her go. And even worse, you can see the fear, how terrified he is that this time, this will be the last time he sees her. “I can’t lose you again.” Mike Wheeler isn’t exaggerating. He knows that he wouldn’t be able to handle losing her a second time

Cast and creatives at the Netflix show's PaleyFest panel said that "Dad Steve" will be back in the summer-set third season, which will begin production this month.
But first, on the red carpet before the panel executive producer Shawn Levy revealed that the third season would take place one year after the second season, during the summer of 1985. He also added that Eleven (Millie Bobbie Brown) and Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin) and Max (Sadie Sink), respectively, would all be couples at the beginning of the season. None of the cast had gotten the script yet, so Brown, who plays Eleven, learned that she would be in a relationship on the carpet.
“Mike and Eleven and are going strong, so that’s a relationship that continues, and same with Mad Max and Lucas. But Again, they’re like 13 or 14-year-old kids, so what does romance mean at that stage of life? It can never be simple and stable relationships and there’s a fun to that instability,” Levy said.
Levy also revealed that Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, will have more of a role in the next season. “We’ll definitely get to see some more Steve Harrington in season three, and I"ll just say we won’t be abandoning the Dad Steve magic. I don’t want to say much more, but I literally feel that we were walking along and we stumbled onto a gold mine with Dad Steve,” Levy said.
After Darkness (Part 6)
Previous: Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 // Part 4 // Part 5
Summary: What happened immediately after El closed the gate and the Mind Flayer left Will? A multi-chapter fic on my take of what I think happened following that fateful night in Hawkins, Indiana in November 1984. Mileven, Lumax, Jancy, Dustin/Steve, Jopper, all included.
A/N: I’m currently hiding in shame at how long it’s taken me to write this chapter and post it for you guys. I usually try to not let the gaps between each chapter stretch for any longer than a week, but this particular chapter was so daunting for me that it took me a while to even start it. In my mind, this was the most important chapter (so far) in this fic, and I was terrified (and still am, really) that I wouldn’t do it justice. Mileven chapters are also my most requested ones, so I knew that I had to get it right. Anyways, I’ve seen your comments both on Tumblr and Fanfiction.net asking me to keep posting, so I’m back! I’m truly sorry that it’s taken me so long to get back into this fic, and I’m so grateful for your patience. I’ll try and stay on track for now on. So, without further ado, here is the most requested chapter of After Darkness! As always, comments are greatly appreciated <3
It only took Mike and El a few moments to decide that the Byers’ bathroom would be the safest place - and really the only place - to have their private conversation. El had initially suggested that they talk outside on the porch, but Mike had ruled that out instantly as his mind imagined the anger on Hopper’s face if he opened the front door and saw them alone together.
So, their only remaining option was the bathroom. El dragged Mike by the hand and marched straight into the bathroom, immediately locking the door behind them with her telekinetic powers. The urgency on El’s face as she turned around to face him made Mike start to worry.
When you want to write fanfic but uni work has to take priority
I’ve seen all of your messages and questions (both here on Tumblr and on Fanfiction.net) about wondering when I’m going to update my multi-fic “After Darkness”. All I can say right now is that it is coming, I promise! Part 6 is currently sitting in my drafts, waiting to be fully written and published. Unfortunately, boring uni work has taken a hold over my life for the past few weeks, so that’s why it’s been *cringe* over 3 weeks since my last update! I promise I’m working on getting it up for you. I don’t want to set an official date, but I’m planning (and praying) to have Part 6 up by the end of this coming weekend. So sit tight! And, if you’re not caught up on After Darkness, then there’s no time like the present!
Thank you for all of your comments and encouragements, you’ll never know how much I appreciate them 💕
