Good grief, Peter!
5th of may
golden hour on the fifth of may
still lovin’ these photos that I took of A last september💕
Back in the day, I was a nightmare for my science teachers; my terrible scores in STEM classes crushed the first dream I ever had, yet it never stopped me from loving anything astronomy years later. I have not read a lot of sci-fi books, but Project Hail Mary is an instant favorite. It’s such a treat to read the book and watch the movie adaptation in the same month! I finished them on the same day, despite spoiling the ending by watching the movie when I still had 50 pages left to read in the book. Both complement each other, giving me the same awestruck and hopeful feeling that I have missed for a long time. Andy Weir did a great job of staying true to the scientific side; I like how specific and thoughtfully laid-out the plot is. At the same time the book built up a momentum that made the story between Grace Ryland and Rocky so bittersweet to me. I prefer the book to its movie adaptation only because I wish the movie could be a longer experience.
Regardless of the version you find yourself in, both of them are a beacon of hope. Weir’s humour and optimism shine through from the beginning to the end. I love how Ryan Gosling emphasized it during different interviews; in a world that has been “saturated with apocalyptic narrative, it feels predestined at this point,” that “maybe the future isn’t something to fear, rather just to be figured out.”

hi.. are these photos originally yours?
Yes they are :)
The most horrifying book I ever read and funny enough, it’s a Christmas gift for someone. I hope I didn’t scare them to death.
