The child seems to perk up immediately as Jin returns, in his hand the oddly specific snack she had requested. A snack pack of chocolate pudding, apparently a favorite of hers. Looking back over said shoulder, she meets eyes with the king— One of her hands had immediately gone to investigate the substance now draped over her. A coat. A fluffy coat.

With a happy snuggle against the fabric, Ritsuka’s lips turn upwards and into a large smile, “Ah! Thank you so much, Saber! It’s so chilly now, isn’t it . . ? W—Wait, this isn’t your coat right? I’d feel really bad wearing it, if it was . . “

’Hiding’ in her quarters after missions had become something of a habit, it took her awhile to calm down once the fighting was over and unless she had a couple moments to herself to recompose then she’d end up jittery and anxious all night long. Ritsuka was on the downhill slope to a more relaxed state when the knock on her door made her jump, scrambling her nerves all over again.

Even so she put on her usual warm smile and dusted herself off out of habit before speaking loudly enough to be heard on the other side of the metallic door.

”Come in!” She was actually a bit surprised to see Muramasa walk in with a tray of food. She hadn’t really interacted with him much since he’d arrived in Chaldea, which made her feel slightly guilty when he set the tray down for her. Still smiling, the red head gives the spot beside her a welcoming pat, “Wanna share? I get a little nauseous if I eat too much after a fight, besides . . Company is always nice.”
