My OP-1 started going all Linda Blair on me; long story (quite literally) short, Pazuzu had an alibi that checked out, and the connector board was the culprit. Got a new one, which looked identical to the stock one as far as far as I could tell, swap, swap, lock. For some reason iFixit included a replacement panel. Not a cheap fix, but it worked after everything else failed.

...but why do I feel hesitant? // book a chalet for 5 days. stay there alone. bring main guitar, maybe bass, iPads for drums, synths, and recording. regardless of (?) each day would consist of recording ideas and not discarding any. at the end I would some back to my studio here and leave the recordings I made alone for 1-3 months. not even a peek. when the day arrives, proceed to step 2.

Graphite and watercolor on watercolor paper (1/8th done). So much has since been added to it that a better way to get the detail down has to be looked at: even in this pic there are tiny, tiny almost hidden astronauts; don't ask - I just find astronauts aesthetically fascinating. (The lack of detail here is attributed to having shot this with the native camera app on an iPhone 5).
Kinda Random
It’s been a whole year since we found Paige darting amongst cars. These were taken approximately 6-7 hours after bringing him in. He stayed in that box for hours, then slowly started to come out. He never freaked out on us.
As I type this he’s at the foot of my bed. I remember being able to fit him into the palm of my hand. Now, his tail alone is the length of his body in these photos.
Contrary to what it may seem to be, this is Paige's idea of what the pinnacle of excitement is.
This one has been around for ages. I call him Kitler. I have a video someone where I’m taping and I hear “hey, hello, hello hello” and it turns out to be him. Gotta find that clip.

Sometime in December 2012, this guy simply walked thru my gates and in the weeks and months that followed he kept coming back, so much so that by December the following year, he was basically indoors mostly.
On Xmas eve, between 6-7am, I last saw him on out sofa sleeping. I was recording all night, had to get some sleep. 15 mins into almost sleeping, I hear these really strange noises, and they seemed to come from the kitchen. The cat was trying to escape by jumping out of the window. It was spooked and hissed at me. Long story short, someone broke in and it got in his way so as to speak, so as I slept 15 mins is all he needed to break the trust between this cat and myself. I don’t know or want to know what he did, but it was traumatic.
This was taken a few weeks back. It has returned to our area, and will let me come close but anywhere inside of 3 feet and it will bolt. It looks like someone is taking care of it, or at least I hope so.
The one at the bottom is part of what will eventually become artwork for a new EP we have; Not sure if it’ll be in the front, back, or within the gatefold… Probably not the back tho). It’s coming along nicely and now that I’ve compared the two, they don’t really even look like the same photo. I’ll post that one as soon as it’s out (a month or so). The rest were taken the same day, just messing around.

LOL true! The Vetta II is toast now anyways. I'm fine with any sort of amp, just as long as I get the sound I want to get and of course there's the matter of how much money I have to spend, which is usually a problem. That said I've had a Diezel VH4 head and a 2x12 Mesa cab (no idea what speakers are in them right now) and I'm looking into getting a much lower-watt vintagey sorta thing like an AC30.
Walking home, pointing the iPhone in random directions, constantly taking photos. Something like 80 photos - these are. 3 out of around 12 that I kinda like.
