Life Series Pearl was raised by wolves (as confirmed by Pearl at Twitchcon), so here’s some consequences of that: 

She will whimper and sometimes howl when in distress because she learned to do it as a baby to get the attention of the wolves raising her. The other players find it very off putting, because it genuinely sounds like a wolf doing it. It makes it hard for her to get people to stay around her when she’s crying because it’s kind of piercing. They expect to hear human sobs and instead Pearl starts howling. 

Pearl prefers to sleep in the same bed as someone else. She’s never really gotten used to blankets and she’s come to realize that players don’t typically share beds (Scott gave her the oddest look during Last Life when she asked and told her that it was weird), so she shares with her wolf of the season to keep warm. The exception to this was Limited Life, where Froggy’s little body wasn’t enough to heat her up so she tried sleeping with blankets. She would wake up every morning with them torn to shreds from tossing and turning in her sleep. Eventually BigB noticed and offered to share a bed with her. That and the Secret Life sleepover in her mound are the closest she’s gotten to really feeling like a pack with other players. 

Part of why she took being alone so hard in DL is because wolves aren’t supposed to be alone. A lone wolf is a sick wolf, a wolf that has something deeply wrong with that would make its pack cast it out or leave it to die. Pearl doesn’t want to be a sick wolf. She wants to belong to the pack.

what do you think of werewolf ren or pearl? or maybe even both? i’m hoping there are some werewolves- let’s get as many paranormal creatures in here as possible! let’s make it a party!

also what do you think of ren and avid as a duo?

I love all the werewolf theories and I think Pearl and Ren should do the spiderman meme but as wolves. Lil pack forming within Oakhurst.

And I think Ren and Avid are neat! Avid and his emotional support dog, lol. Avid should get to be a werewolf too, as a treat.

Saguru sketches !! Still struggling with his hair but at least I can tell it's him now.

Why is Saguru's hair so hard to draw hhhhh. It just never looks Saguru enough when I draw it. When I try to sketch his hair it just keeps getting worse with each sketch :'D

Instead of drawing I've been thinking about what Pokemon Magic Kaito characters could have hmmmmmmm

What I have rn:

Kuroba Kaito

- Zorua (partly aesthetic and because I think a pokemon that can use illusions would fit magic idk)

- Alolan Ninetales (got it from Toichi as a kid after one of his world tours to be his starter pokemon. Evolving it from a vulpix to a ninetales)

- Absol (pure aesthetic aaaaaaa)

(Bonus)

- Alakazam (feels more like a family pokemon that was passed down to him, either from Jii or Toichi)

- Thievul (also feels like a pokemon from Toichi or only KID specific)

- Sableye (KID specific as well, would probably help with gems)

- Pidove (doves !!!!! Usually only used as KID or for magic tricks, he has many of them tho. Alongside one shiny one ^^)

Nakamori Aoko

- Azumarill (purely aesthetic, why not)

- Herdier/Lillipup (canine pokemon are typically used in police for pokemon, considering Nakamori-keibu I think Aoko would have one as well)

- Riolu (also vibes, sorry. I think how riolu is super strong despite not being evolved [lore wise] is also partly why I chose it, would probably be happy when Aoko uses her mop haha)

(Bonus)

- Psyduck (yes.)

- Galarian ponyta (feels like something Nakamori-keibu maybe caught for her when she was a kid and it warmed up to her fast. Also how ponyta seem to stay with the pure of heart and I think the Nakamoris could fit that)

- Blissey (has a lucky egg, would match with Aoko's luck in canon hahaha)

Koizumi Akako

- Hatterene (purely aesthetic once again + forest witch ;D)

- Chandelure (feels like it can help her with the witch things she does, also, being the "luring" pokemon helps)

- Mawile (it just matches with her vibe idk how to explain)

(Bonus)

- Grimmsnarl (I think she would have one in her mansion)

Hakuba Saguru

- Talonflame (basically a hawk, do I need to say more?)

- Arcanine (like Aoko's situation, canine pokemon are typically used for police in pokemon)

- Inteleon (feels like it would be his starter pokemon from Galar, I just know it)

(Bonus)

- Applin (caught from Galar [Pokemon's UK basically] and kept it with him, he may be planning to give it to a certain someone.. ;p)

(Btw giving an Applin to someone, specifically in Galar is confessing your love basically, wanting to be with that person forever)

- Indeedee both male/female is fine, you choose (I think baaya would have one haha)

I want to think of more but this is all I can come up with, if any of you have suggestions or feel like there's better options please tell me ^^. Even for other characters such as Keiko or Nakamori-keibu !!
