Do not push ships on me.  I’m generally fine with shipping, as long as we discuss it first.  But if I have said no to something, that means no.  It’s usually because I’m uncomfortable with it for some reason, and I will generally make that reason known.  Don’t keep pushing  If you do this, I will not RP with you.

Relationship status: Separated.  While Stolas is still technically married to Stella, he has never wanted the relationship and has recently put into action a plan to divorce her.  He is also seeing Blitzo, although he’s come to realize rather recently that the imp may not reciprocate his feelings.

Mental Health and Behavior: 

Stolas suffers from major depressive disorder (MDD) and has a number of mental health challenges related to his emotional neglect as a child and years of domestic abuse at the hands of his wife.  He will cling to anyone who shows him affection, as he’s been starved for it his entire life.

History: 

Stolas is the son of Paimon, one of the kings of Hell most loyal to Lucifer.  The “owl boy” was born to serve the family through managing specific tasks and legions.  Specifically, he was placed in charge of the night sky and all the prophecies of the stars.  Raised primarily by an imp servant, Stolas was often confined to the palace to keep him safe and away from “inferior” demons.  While he never wanted for basic necessities - nor, indeed, most anything he desired - and while neither of his parents ever hurt him, they were often not present in his life and they neglected him emotionally.  Stolas was a sensitive child and the isolation of his upbringing left him lonely and unhappy. 

His first friend was Blitzo, whom he met at the age of eleven.  Paimon paid Blitzo’s father to bring the imp to the palace to act as a playmate for Stolas after Paimon noted how taken his son was with the little clown.  Stolas had no other friends until he was deemed old enough to be permitted to interact more with the extended family and had a chance to meet some of his cousins.  The majority of his childhood was spent reading, studying, and caring for his collection of (mainly carnivorous) plants.

When Stolas was eighteen, he was married to Stella, to whom he had been betrothed since he was eleven years old but whom had never met.  Neither of them actually wanted the marriage and they never cared for each other.  Their marriage was intended to produce a precautionary heir to the Goetia family and within a year of their marriage, Olivia was born.  Stella was emotionally and verbally abusive towards him from the beginning, but did not escalate to physical abuse until after Olivia’s birth.  Stolas stayed and was faithful to Stella for the sake of their daughter.  The first time he cheated was when Blitzo came back into his life and the crush he’d had since they first met was finally realized.  This was when he finally gained the courage to stand up to Stella and begin the process of divorcing her, as Octavia was seventeen and their obligation to the Goetia family was satisfied.

This is, I'm afraid, quite new to me. Not keeping a journal, I've done that since I was a child. No, it's keeping it out in the open like this. Intentionally leaving it for others to read. But I do think Blitzø had a point. It is a good way to put my own voice out into the world and allow people to get to know me. Even the playing field between myself and Stella a bit, perhaps. I shall have to think about what I wish to present here. Until then, I think this should be a sufficient first point.

“Heheh. Ohh, it’s no worries, darling. It would be absolutely preposterous of me to show up unannounced and then get mad for you not being prepared for it. You’re alright. Now please, have a seat, get yourself a glass. You look like you need one.” Lucifer moves to gesture to another empty chair in front of the fireplace, smirking softly with wide, grinning fangs, idly swirling the wine glass he already held in his claws. “You have a lovely taste when it comes to drinks, might I add.”

Regardless of what Lucifer said, Stolas tried to fix his robe so that he was at least somewhat decent before he sat down in the other chair. He was definitely going to be careful, too, not to allow himself to get drunk, as he needed to be alert and attentive. while Lucifer was here.

He poured himself a glass and settled back in the chair. "Thank you, your Majesty. And I do suppose you have a point about the surprise. Still..."

He shifted a little to pull the robe tighter. In a lighter tone, he asked, "So, to what do I owe the honor of your visit?"

“In all honesty? I merely wanted to finally meet the Prince Stolas in person. I’ve heard plenty of things about you, after all, and unlike Paimon, I often do try to actually pay attention to his children and who they end up growing into.” His grin widens just a bit, as if he was telling a rather funny joke, chuckling a little as he moves to take a sip from his wine. “I’ve been hearing that you’ve been doing good work for Hell, and that you’ve had a daughter recently too, and I thought I’d might as well offer my congratulations for that as well.”

"Oh. Well. Thank you, your Majesty. I'm glad you're pleased with my work. And yes! I do have a daughter. Octavia, my owlette." His smile was genuine and quite warm. Stolas was, more than anything else, a doting father. He adored Octavia, no matter how much she protested that she was no longer his little girl.

He was also glad that that was what Lucifer was here for. To talk about his work and his daughter. He'd gotten far too much attention for his indiscretions lately and he had feared perhaps that had angered Lucifer. He wasn't sure if the king would even take notice of such things, but among the Princes of Hell? Stolas feared he just might.

“Pardon me for interrupting your evening, but would it be alright if I offered you a drink? From the way you’re looking, you frankly could ussse one, if you want my opinion.”

A voice speaks up next to where Stolas sat in Ozzie’s club, near the bar off to the side of the main stage. It was a soft, high pitched voice, carrying the slightest bit of a hiss to it, and if Stolas were to turn his head, he would see a large, pink colored serpent sitting right next to him on the bar, wearing a long glittering black dress, the straps wrapped around the back of his neck rather than his shoulders, cleavage visibly showing, the dress itself extending down to brush against his coils, the mass of which were mostly wrapped around the stool he was sitting on. His hair was long, thick, pooling down his back in a heavy wave, and while it was pink on the outside, on the inside it was a deep black, the same hue as his underbelly. But what was the most stunning was the aspect of the eyes. Large green eyes, all but covering every inch of the serpent’s body, green, glowing, glittering with golden pupils in the shape of hearts.

Stolas was not having a good day. He was still fighting with Stella and Blitz was still distant. It seemed that Stolas would never be able to make him happy. He could never convince him that there was a reason to stay. Which was part of why he was here. Asmodeus was always a good distraction. They were, both demons who ruled over desire. There was an understanding between them that did not exist between Stolas and most of the rest of the Ars Goetia.

He was three drinks in when he heard the voice. He looked up to see a large serpent beside him. The demon was nearly as tall as Stolas himself. And the serpent was certainly quite striking. Stolas couldn't decide if this stranger was a sinner or a succubus. But he had to be a succubus, as sinners couldn't travel between rings. But he had never seen a succubus who looked quite like this. Especially given the eyes. That many eyes was something he would expect to see on someone like Asmodeus - someone with angelic heritage to them - not a succubus. He could admit he was quite curious.

"Thank you. That's very kind of you," Stolas replied, trying not to stare. The details of the serpent's appearance were quite striking indeed. "I don't believe we've met. I am Stolas. I'm a relative of Asmodeus's."

Blitz didn't have much in the way of family- never had, and after the deaths of his parents and being left with just his sister, he really didn't have much

That was fine, ofcourse it wasn't he didn't need a big family he did but he was.... curious....

After being informed via at-home DNA test that he actually had living relatives in England of all places, and one of said relatives came all the way across the pond just to encourage Blitz to come to some family wedding.....

So yeah, here he stood, on the property of the Prince family- the hosts to his cousin's wedding, as it were, family freinds or some shit-, looking around in utter awe and feeling... overwelmed...

The estate- can you believe that? a fucking ESTATE- was gorgeous and massive, it looked like it had been around since the inception of England it's self, and yet it was also well kept and clean and just utterly beautifull, it was unlike anything Blitz had ever seen before in his life....

He took a step back, trying to get a better veiw of the enormous mansion, and yelping, startled, when he quite literally ran into someone, spinning around and feeling his heart leap into his throat

The man behind him was..... a total stranger, and also so elegant and beautifull that Blitz felt somewhat awkward even existing on the same planet as he did

"U-Uh... um... sorry, I was just-..... sorry..."

Stolas was out for a stroll around the family estate. He was a bit pensive this morning. It was hard not to be, after all, when he knew why he was here. As a prince of the Ars Goetia - the order into which he had been born - he had always known he had a purpose in life. One over which he had no say. This, apparently, was that purpose. To forge an alliance between this family humans and the vampires such as himself who ruled this land from the shadows of night. Among other things, but at the moment, this seemed the most pressing.

Lost in thought as he was, he failed to see the smaller man. Stolas was quite tall, at close to seven feet, and tended to forget himself. Besides, the other man was quite short. He didn't know who this was, but just the fact that he was here made Stolas curious. His red eyes fixed intently on the stranger, registering before nearly anything else the scar that obscured a large portion of his face. His eye on that side appeared undamaged, so Stolas wondered what could have caused such an injury to the skin while apparently sparing the eye. That was most certainly not something to ask a total stranger, however. Even if the mortal would owe him an answer simply for the fact that he was here on this estate unmolested when Stolas had no idea who he was. Regardless of the scar, Stolas still found him quit handsome.

"Oh, not to worry, my dear. I'm afraid I often find myself lost in the night sky," he replied with a small smile. "I don't think we've met. My name is Stolas, of the Ars Goetia. Since you are here, I should assume you are familiar. Are you a friend of the Buck family? There is to be a wedding here in a few days' time, and we've had many guests arriving of late, though few arrive so late at night."

What Stolas neglected to mention was that he was the groom in the upcoming wedding. Unhappy as he was about being married off to someone he'd never met, he didn't have much choice in the matter. It was expected. It was his duty to the family. He could always take another bride, he had been assured. Monogamy was a fallacy to which the Goetia did not adhere. When one lived as long as they did, it was bound to be so. But all of that was ignoring the fact that he didn't want a bride to begin with. He'd little interest in the fairer sex. And he had always been that way, no matter how he tried not to admit it to himself. But this was just the way things were.

The harlequin markings beneath his eyes - a sign of his affiliation with the owl, as all Goetia were related to some manner of bird - were stark against his pale skin. His features were sharp and he was quite thin. Despite this, his red eyes and the fanglike incisors visible when he smiled were indicators that all was not as it seemed with him. He both dressed and sounded like a nintheenth century aristocrat, something easily explained by his age. And yet, he looked young. No older than this human, certainly. He was young, by Goetic standards. But by human standard, he was practically ancient. It was, therefore, unreasonable to get attached to such fleeting little creatures as humams. And yet, Stolas couldn't help but find himself intrigued.

“Ahhh, Prince Stolas. How wonderful it is to see you, darling.” King Lucifer sat there in a chair in front of a currently roaring fireplace. Said fireplace just happened to be in the middle of Stolas’s own private lounge, within his own palace. Lucifer had not given a single announcement to Stolas that he was here, nor that he was planning on coming. He had a glass of wine in a gloved hand, and he was grinning toward Stolas as if nothing was wrong. “Hope you don’t mind that I stopped by, dear. I just thought it was time to come in and check in on my most skilled astronomer in Hell.” @infernal-dominion

The palace had been depressingly quiet all day. Octavia was with her mother, which left Stolas home alone. The only plans he really had involved Hell-a-Novella and possibly food. He hadn't even bothered dressing properly, still in his robe. Needless to say, he was not at all prepared to walk into his sitting room and find the King of Hell sitting in front of a roaring fire. At first he didn't know what to do and so he just stared. After a moment, he got his brain to form words again. He gave a deep bow, and replied, spluttering slightly, "I... No. No, I don't mind. Of course. It's always a pleasure, your Majesty. I would have been a bit more prepared if I had I known you were coming."

Blitz was humming to himself as he was practicing. Already having went through his joke routine. He doubted that was gonna get any laughs tomorrow night. The only person to have ever genuinely laughed at his jokes had been that prince and he doubted his dad was gonna bring him here again. From the impression he got of the guy he wasn’t really a fan of the poor which they very much were. The child was balancing on a rather large ball when he caught sight of the owl approaching him. His eyes widened and he almost lost his balance. Luckily he was able to catch himself. “Hey it’s you!” He exclaimed. Doing a flip to land in front of the kid. “What are you doing here? Did they just let you back here?” Oh yeah he is royalty so yeah no shit they probably let him do whatever he wants.

Stolas had been quite pleased with himself, first managing to sneak out of the palace and then remembering the way here. He couldn't have asked anybody without getting himself into trouble, so he had just had to remember. And he had! Once he has gotten to the circus, the camp and midway had made it a bit difficult. Not insofar as finding the big top, but in terms of not being spotted. And, of course, knowing where Blitzo was.

The prince had been thinking about the imp for a couple of weeks now. Ever since his birthday, when they had spent the day together. It had been wonderful, having a friend. Of course, Blitzo probably had friends. Besides Stolas. But Stolas didn't have any friends besides Blitzo. And that was why he had decided to come here. He wanted to see his friend again.

"Shhh!" Stolas hushed Blitzo, when the little clown called out to him. Looking around furtively, he said in a stage whisper, "No. No one let me in. I'm not actually supposed to be here. But I wanted to see you. I had such fun with you and... I was lonely. And I thought maybe we could play!"

Sure he'd like to wear Stolas's tattoos, but as he had said, it wasn't exactly an emergency

Smirking- and immediately sighing in releif- Blitz crawled on top of his lover, tilting Stolas's head up and giving him a long, slow kiss, feeling oddly.... different.... about it than usual

He couldn't quite identify how he felt, just that the kiss was better than usual somehow, it was warmer, it was softer, it tasted sweeter, he couldn't describe it, but.... he felt ten times happier than he usually did when he kissed his lover

"You like that baby?" he cooed, grinding a little against the prince

"You want Daddy to corrupt you until you're a writhing, squirming mess for me~?"

Nodding a little, Blitz gave him another kiss, a little shorter this time though

"Yeah.... I think I'm ok for the most part.... the uh... the weirdest emotional shit is starting to wear off a little, I'm still kinda dizzy though so you might have to top, or atleast ride me, I uh..... probably shouldn't be moving around off balance too much right now..."

He may be quite a bit smaller than Stolas, but it could still hurt his partner if Blitz lost his balance and fell on him....

That really wasn't how he wanted to start off this new phase of their relationship, by fucking smothering his boyfreind during their inaugural fuck...

Stolas let Blitz get on top of him, hands coming up to rest on the imp's back. The kiss was sweet but claiming and Stolas could feel his cheeks burning. He loved when Blitz was like this. Of course he liked plenty of harder things, too, but soft and sweet was always good for him. Especially when it made him feel as thoroughly owned as this.

His primary eyes stayed closed as Blitz teased him gently. The little moan was as involuntary as the way he pressed up into that friction just slightly, hands tightening against the small of Blitz's back. The question was what prompted him to open his eyes again, looking up at Blitz with open arousal. "Yes," he breathed. "Yes, I very much do. You know how I love being a writhing, needy mess for you. I want you to make me beg you to fuck me."

Was he getting carried away? Very possibly. The second kiss shut him up very quickly, though. But Blitz was evidently not as well as he seemed. And Stolas wasn't going to do this if Blitz wasn't entirely in control of himself. One hand came up to trace his fingers along Blitz's horn. "Rest, then, darling. I'm not going anywhere, I promise. When you're feeling better, then we can resume this."

Yes, Blitz had already begun winding him up, but Stolas was still in control and recognized that they probably shouldn't be doing this just yet. Not if Blitz wasn't feeling entirely stable. It could wait until he was less dizzy.

Lest Blitz think this was something about what Stolas did and did not want to do with him in a purely sexual sense, he added, "I can still do whatever you'd like when we resume, but I don't want you feeling poorly."

This he punctuated with a gentle kiss and slight pressure against Blitz's back, urging the imp to lay down. If he was still dizzy from the anesthesia, he needed to rest. Besides, Stolas didn't want to do any while Blitz's ability to consent was questionable. And he had seen what a mess the anesthesia had made of the imp emotionally.

Blitz felt comfortable like this- in his element, in his nature, the one in control, taking Stolas apart, and now he could look forward to it even more than before, given that now he didn't have to be afraid of getting too close, didn't need to worry about just being a sex doll, it would be so fucking good-

But before he could make good on any of those promises- or make any new promises to make good on- Stolas was... insisting that they stop....

Blitz was the biggest fan in the world of consent, ofcourse, but he had to admit he was disappointed, it was clear that Stolas only wanted to stop because he was worried for his lover

"I'm really fine," he insisted with a pout, shoulders sagging

"I just don't feel great about topping, but I can do other shit, promise,"

The little bit of pressure on his back didn't give him room to argue though, practically collapsing like a slinkie as he let his head rest on Stolas's chest

Maybe he felt a little fuzzier than he realized, he didn't usually give into anything that easily....

Hm, what an annoying little habbit that could develop into....

"Atleast let me blow you?" he insisted softly

"I don't really need to be all physically active for that, right?"

There is a large chance Blitz was missing the point

"Darling," Stolas protested gently, cupping Blitz's cheek with one hand. "No. Not right now. As I said, I don't want you feeling poorly. You're clearly still suffering the side effects of the anesthesia. Once you're through the worst of them, I'll be more than happy to do whatever you'd like." Lower, and in a darker, more seductive tone, he added, "I'll spend all night riding that big, thick dick of yours if that's what you want. I'll be so good for you." Dropping the seductiveness, but keeping the lower tone, he concluded, "But for right now, you need to rest. You can't make decisions about this in your current state. You're not wholly yourself right now. It isn't any different from you not wanting to engage in such things if I've been drinking. And if you are dizzy, all the more evidence if that. You also shouldn't be doing anything too physical right now. Not if you feel unstable."

He was definitely still wound up. But he was not going to do this while Blitz was impaired. He'd get over being horny, but he wasn't going to risk hurting Blitz. Sure, they were in a relationship now and Blitz seemed to always be ready for this sort of thing. But that wasn't consent enough. The imp was clearly still drugged.

Stolas wasn't lying, though. Once Blitz felt up to it, he'd be happy to do this. Some good, kinky sex would be a good distraction from the heaviness of their conversation since Blitz woke from the anesthesia. And Stolas was always up for that just as much as Blitz was.

Dammit.... Stolas had to go pulling the safe sex card huh? And here Blitz thought he was the only one who could play that... when had Stolas learned so much about being safe, sane, and consensual anyway?

Well, they'd been doing this long enough now he supposed....

"You're really gonna get me hard and leave me stranded huh?" he sighed, but it wasn't quite true, Blitz couldn't feel much of anything physically right now, everything was still too fuzzy, he hadn't even thought of the possibility that he might not be able to have sex in this state...

That was a freaky thought....

Sighing, he wrapped his arms around Stolas's neck and dragged him down, closing his eyes and hugging the owl a little bit tighter than he usually would have maybe still afraid of letting go

"You learn too good sometimes..." he mumbled

"Just.... just as long as you don't mind staying here with nothing going on I guess...."

It was still a little hard to believe Stolas would want that, would want him if he was boring, but.... he had no energy left to fight the idea now, he just wanted the extra confirmation again and again.... maybe even again after that....

Stolas let Blitz pull him down, kissing the mark on the imp's forehead before wrapping his arms tightly around him. He was adament about this. After all, Blitz wasn't the only one he was leaving hard here. He was definitely there himself. But Blitz's consent was more important.

"I did have the best teacher," he grinned, leaning in to nuzzle the imp. He wrapped himself a little more tightly around Blitz as he insisted, "Of course I want you here, darling. Always. No matter what. Just rest for now. Sleep. We'll see how you feel later."

He also needed to sleep. He had been awake since the previous morning and was quite tired. He didn't really want to sleep unless Blitz was, though. He just didn't want the imp to be alone, even if Stolas was still right here beside him. So he would do what he could to reassure Blitz and they could rest. Later, they could renegotiate if that was what Blitz wanted. Or they could talk more about the future of their relationship. But for now, he needed Blitz to rest.

"Oh, my dear, why ever would you think that?" Stolas asked, brows furrowed. He didn't know where he'd gone wrong explaining this. But evidently he'd said something wrong.

Angel stared at Stolas with tired dissatisfaction, not sure how he should be addressing this

He'd served some pretty big clients before, but never a fucking prince, and certainly never one so nice, it was kind of.... disarming...... what was he supposed to do with this guy? He couldn't be overly professional- Stolas seemed to want something more like the boyfreind experience, he kept insisting on not being called by a fancy title- but if he was overly casual, he'd probably get his head chopped off so....

"Listen doll, you are REAL sweet- like, I'm probably gonna be walkin' outta here with diabetes just from talkin' to you, but I'm a whore, it's literally my job, it ain't an insult- well... sometimes anyway- it just.... is what it is,"

Moving a little bit closer, he offered Stolas a warm smile, trying to make up for whatever had gone wrong in their communication

"But I get it, ya' know? You don't wanna fuck a whore, that's fine! I don't gotta be one when I'm with you, you want more of a... boyfreind experience? Girlfreind experience? I'm fluid, I can be either, just tell me what gets your feathers all fluffed and I'll be happy to be whatever ya' want me to be,"

Stolas frowned, reaching out to gently take one of Angel's hands. "Darling, it isn't your profession I have a problem with. You wouldn't be here if I did. I simply don't want to pressure you into anything. I don't..." He sighed, primary eyes closing just briefly before focusing back on the spider. "People around me often do whatever it is they think I might want simply because of my title. It's... a bit distressing, to be frank. And this... Angel, I do not want you to agree to anything with which you are not entirely comfortable or which you do not want to do simply because you think it is what I want. Sex, above perhaps anything else, is one arena in which I will not compromise on that. Even if I am paying you. Does that make sense, dear?"

Gently, he drew Angel close so that he could wrap his arms loosely around the spider's waist. He didn't want the sinner to feel trapped, but he did want to hold him. "As for what I want you to be, I shall leave that to you. I would tell you to be yourself, but I'm quite aware that one's public face is often not who they are. So I shall leave the choice to you. As I will most things tonight, if you have no objection."

His cheeks colored faintly at that admission. Given Angel's profession, Stolas was certain the spider would know what he meant. This was likely not how Angel had thought this would go, but this was genuinely what Stolas wanted. He didn't want to be his title right now. He simply wanted to be himself. And he felt perhaps here that might actually be acceptable.

Timber had received word that some of his boys had retrieved something of immense value that he’d greatly enjoy, and thus didn’t bother to hide his excitement when he met them at the gates to The Den. His top sniper Cracks, a wiry pale-skinned sinner, was holding a long black case, and Timber had a good idea of what might be in something of that length. “Yer gonna love it, boss, sure as the sky’s red!”

Snatching the case from Cracks’ hands, he quickly opened it up and was nearly blinded by the glow that emanated from within. When his eyes adjusted to the light, his jaw dropped when he saw what he was holding. It was a rifle, as he’d guessed, bolt-action, but the material… no fucking way. Every square inch of it was the holiest of holy white metal, and even just staring at it made dread fill up his demonic heart. Or maybe that was from the implications that came with this weapon.

Carefully, he shut the case, set it down to the side, and as his right paw ignited, he furiously struck Cracks across the face, leaving a scorch mark.

“ARE YOU OUTTA YER FUCKIN’ MIND?!”

“Boss, what the fuck, thought you’d love a gun like this!”

“This ain’t no blessin’-tipped shooter y’got here, dumbass! This here’s a genuine holy weapon! This gun’s somethin’ straight from the hands of an angel sharpshooter! Y’know how rare a gun like this is in Hell? PRETTY FUCKIN’ RARE! I don’t think even any of the Ring Lords ever seen a weapon like this in person down here!”

Timber was visibly panicking, but he didn’t care what others might think. It was one thing for an Overlord to have a pistol with the barrel tip blessed so that the bullets inflicted holy wounds, but this was something entirely different. This was the difference between killing a mayor and killing the President of the United States. If word got out that he had a rifle made entirely of genuine holy metal, his suffering would last eons. He had to get this out of his hands, out of the northwestern district, and ideally, out of Pentagram City, and fast.

Stolas was, in general, the person in charge of overseeing the weapons industry in this part of Pride. That, perhaps, had something to do with his domain including poisons. And with no members of the royal family whose domains included anything to do with weapons or fighting lived in this region. He was the closest it got. As such, he was generally aware of what was going on with the weapons trade and with gun-running in Pentagram City in particular. Most of the time, it wasn't anything worth noting. Every now and then a problem cropped up with a blessing tipped or blessing edged weapon falling into the hands of sinners with nefarious intentions, but those instances were generally handled quickly and easily.

This, however, was another matter entirely. He had gotten word that a holy weapon had turned up on the black market in Pentagram City. Just this morning it had been reported, and Stolas was already in touch with his informants in the Pentagram. He was, of course, keeping track of Valentino, even if the Overlord's main trades were sex and drugs. And then there was Henroin, a sinner whose strong ties to organized crime in the living world had followed him to Hell and who ruled the underground of the Wrath Sector like a mafia Don. He, too, generally dealt in drugs, though he had been known to move weapons. The biggest concern, though, was an arms dealer in the West Side. Timber had been in Hell long enough to become an Overlord and to establish more or less a stranglehold on firearms in that section of the city at least. If Stolas had to guess who would have such a thing, his guess would most certainly be Timber. And thus that was the sinner upon whom he had the most eyes focused.

Of course, it would be foolish to move before he knew what he was doing. One must have good intelligence before making decisions. Doing something rash will rarely solve a problem that by its nature requires careful consideration. After all, he certainly didn't want the weapon being used. And if Timber or any of the others got word that Stolas was onto them, he could be almost certain it would be. He didn't want to send his people into a death trap. Better to hear first what his spies had to report.

And sure enough, as expected, his spies in the Northwest had heard chatter. Timber. It still wasn't a hundred percent certainty, but it was enough to act on. Given Timber's stranglehold on firearms in the West Side, something of that magnitude would have to go through his hands. He spent several hours on the phone with some of his legion captains and his spies in the Pentagram, trying to work out a plan of action.

If the wolf demon had that gun, he would come to regret it. Already, Stolas was getting his demons into place, setting out the traps that would stop the arms dealer before he could sell the gun off to anyone else. Delay, distort, and discourage were all good methods of holding off a sale until the royal legions could do something. It would be easy enough to put the fear of, well, God, he supposed, into anyone who might consider buying it. Given it was a holy weapon, that seemed more fear of God than fear of the Devil. Although he hated to think of what Lucifer might do to someone from the lower ranks caught with a weapon like that.

"October is a time for going to bed in your nicest lingerie in hopes that a hot serial killer crawls in through your bedroom window!"

"It's time for..." Stolas trailed off, finding the thought slightly disturbing. But it wasn't as though he had room to talk, as he did nearly the exact same thing far more often. Blitz wasn't a serial killer, per se, but close enough for this scenario. "I, um, well, I suppose that depends very much on the serial killer."

"Oh yeah, definitely, there's gotta be a vetting process for sure, make absolute certain that the only thing they're gonna be slaying is 'dat ass."

Fizzarolli reclines in his seat, swiveling a hand holding a half-smoked cigarette so the unfurling ribbons of grayish pink smoke dance about his fingers.

"Last serial killer I tussled with left me clinically deceased for ten whole minutes. Can't say I learned my lesson though. Something about it, y'know? That thrill—it's like a drug."

It's exceedingly difficult to say wether the jester's accounts are factual or if he's being purposefully absurd just to shock and awe. But as far as Fizzarolli is concerned, that's nothing out of the ordinary.

"Can't beat it—and you can take my word on that one, I do a lot of drugs."

Stolas listened as the jester explained his thoughts on the subject. He knew the imp had a bit of a reputation - inevitable, really, when working with Asmodeous - but he did seem to be rather extreme. Then again, so did Stolas. With the right person, at least.

"I can't say I've done many drugs in my time, but I understand perfectly what you mean, my dear. The fear and excitement of the helplessness, of not knowing what's next." He paused, as though considering his next words. "There is something to be said as well for pain, as well as fear and helplessness. And I would think most serial killers would enjoy that. Inflicting pain. Perhaps not in quite the same way, but it would still be applicable, one would think. Pain and fear and helplessness seem the exact sort of things they would wish to see in their victims.

"But perhaps not anything quite so extreme as to be fatal, even temporarily. Ten minutes is quite a long time to be dead." That was most of what struck Stolas as extreme. Fear and pain were one thing, death was another altogether. He was rather difficult to kill, being what he was, but even so, it wasn't impossible.

Fizzarolli, however, seemed completely unfazed. It was possible that he was overstating things to get a rise out of Stolas. But given that reputation, it was hard to be sure one way or the other. And it made the owl quite curious.
