Disappointing but not entirely unexpected news today Posted @withregram @ukpenshows It has been an incredibly hard decision..... The most important parts of any Pen Show are the Vendors and the Visitors. Our role as organiser is ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone at the event. So it is with heavy heart that we have taken the decision to cancel the busiest and largest Pen Show of the year. The decision has been made slightly easier with official guidelines not being particularly precise and the venue severely questioning if holding the event was the correct thing to do. We would like to thank everyone for the continued support of UK Pen Shows, we very much appreciate the feedback and the good wishes expressed by all. Please let us know if you have an opinion either way, but we have some great new plans and events lined up for what is probably 2021 now. The Copthorne Hotel in Sheffield has closed down also so it is unlikely to go ahead unless we can find a suitable alternative venue, will keep you informed. Bristol on Feb 7th 2021 is the next event booked, in a fantastic new venue. London Spring on March 7th also in a fantastic new venue will be hotly anticipated. We have agreements from several great brands to have tables and demonstrators on hand to discuss the history and innovations from several Pen Superstars. Names to be officially announced soon but am sure you know who we mean. We will also be announcing a fantastic new Ink sponsorship and as mentioned before the greatest pen raffle prize ever offered. We are determined to come back with many great reasons for visitors to visit the largest collection of Pen Shows in the World. Stay safe and please do not hesitate to contact regarding anything you may require. The tables for London October were not invoiced yet, but some people have ordered and paid for the show online at www.ukpenshows.co.uk We will carry this booking over to March 2021 , unless you inform us and we will issue a refund.
