ive had this blog for almost 6 years... so crazy. Most of those years I was active and constantly spending free time on here .. and now most days I almost forget this even exists until something reminds me or i have the sudden urge to vomit my random thoughts into a text post .... for no one to read or maybe someone... if anyone even follows me anyways ... it says theres over 4000 but i feel like its really just 10 r maybe even less than

Awesome animated sci-fi comedy series Rick and Morty recently wrapped up its second season and has a third on the way next year. Following the misadventures of Rick, an eccentric elderly scientist, and his anxious, yet brave grandson Morty, the show began as a spoof on Back to the Future, but rapidly became a wonderfully weird phenomenon unto itself. Rick often uses a device of his own creation called a Portal Gun, which shoots green, fluidic portals onto a nearby surface, enabling its user to travel between different universes, dimensions, and realities.

Dave Dalton from the Hammerspace maker community in Kansas City, MO is a big fan of the show and recently designed and built his own replica of Rick’s portal gun. We’ve seen other fan-made portal gun props before, but what singles out this one is that Dalton fitted his with a tiny projector that projects an animated image of the green portal from the show.

He also does a fantastic impression of Rick while demonstrating his creation:
