To quote Dr. Suess, "You're braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and more beautiful than you could ever imagine" keep going love, I promise it'll get better. Message me if you ever need :)
Meep. Thank you <3

I need advice, I have an idea and I’m terrified but I feel it could be important to carry it out, I need other peoples’ thoughts and opions on my idea first however and I am fine with critism and negativity, that is actually kind of the point, to test out my idea here before I create the final prodduct. Please inbox me.
Warning: Before you Start to Cut
“WARNING - Before you make that first cut remember: You will enjoy this. You will find the blood and pain release addictive. Even though you think you can make a few tiny cuts that aren’t deep and will heal easily, they will get deeper. They will scar. They will take sometimes months to heal. And years for the scars to fade. If you think you can limit the cutting to one area of your body, think again; it will spread when you run out of skin. "Be prepared to withdraw from others and live in a constant state of shame. Even if you are the most honest person ever to live, you will find yourself lying to the people you love. You will jerk back from your friends when they touch you as if their hands were dipped in poison. You will be terrified that they will feel something under the cloth of your shirt or because it just plain hurts so much to be touched. Be prepared to get so out of control you fear your next cut because you don’t know how bad it will be. Just wait for 10 cuts to turn into 100. "Be prepared for your entire life to revolve around thinking about cutting, cutting and covering up cutting. And just wait till that first time you cut "too deep.” And you freak out because the blood won’t stop, and you are gaping, and you feel yourself shaking all over. You are having a panic attack and you are terrified but you can’t tell anyone. So you sit there alone, praying it will be ok swearing you’ll never let it go this far again. But you will, and further. “Don’t worry, you will learn how to take care of your cuts so that you can go deeper and deeper and avoid the ER. And the better you get at treating your cuts, the deeper they get. You will lie to yourself and justify it when you find yourself spending 20, 30 or 50 dollars every time you go the pharmacy. You will feel the flutter of your heartbeat every time you go to the counter to ring up your order. Butterfly strips, 3 or four different kinds of dressings, Betadine, antibiotic cream, medical tape, scar reducers. You will tap your foot impatiently, hoping the line will just move and no one will stare at you or wonder why you need all these things. And at the same time, secretly hope someone will notice; someone who is standing in line with an armful of the same supplies; someone who understands but of course that never happens. "Medical supplies won’t be the only thing you spend all your money on. Be prepared to buy a new wardrobe; long-sleeve shirts in summer colours, bracelets, wristbands , boots, gloves, the list goes on and on. You will start looking at everyone in a different way, scanning their bodies for any signs of SI just hoping that you might meet someone like you so you don’t feel so terribly alone. You won’t even think about it as your eyes scan their wrists arms, hoping, just hoping, they will be like you. But they are not. You will see their clean arms and feel terribly ashamed and alone. You will start doing a lot of things alone. "You will always have to wash your laundry in private so know one sees the blood stains on your clothes and towels. You will always be cleaning up the blood, scrubbing your bathroom floor, wiping the blood off your keyboard. You won’t be able to make it through a day without cutting. "Next thing you know, you are in a public bathroom somewhere breaking open a scab with a sewing needle that you keep in your wallet for emergencies. When you get really desperate anything will be a cutting tool; scissors, a car key, a needle, a paperclip, even a pen. Doesn’t matter what it is if you need to cut badly enough, you will find something. "Say goodbye to things you took for granted. Like wearing shorts or sandals, pedicures, sleeveless tops. A normal summer day at the beach or in a swimming pool will become a far off memory for you. Get ready to itch. Because you will itch and itch, "so much you will look like you have fleas or a skin disease.” You will become an expert on your body as you destroy it carefully. You will dream about cutting, you will dream about being exposed. It will haunt you day and night and take over your life. You will wish you never made that first cut because while you absolutely HATE cutting at the same time you love it and can not live with out it…“ - Anonymous
THIS! I wish someone told me this 11 years ago...
My amazing cousin turns 33 today, or at least he would if he hadn’t over dosed on the drug heroin 2 years ago. Many people, kids, teens, and adults alike, think drugs are fun and cool and a great way to relax. And don’t get me wrong I smoke weed for those exact reasons. But few people think about the consequences of doing hard drugs. My beautiful cousin you see above was not an addict. He did heroin with his friends once in awhile to have fun and relax until on day September 3rd 2013 to be specific, he took to much and his heart gave out. He and I were always the black sheep of the family and we both struggled with severe depression. Now I am alone and sometimes I hate him for leaving me, why can he give up but I can’t? But the truth is he didn’t give up it was an accident and accidents happen. This is a warning to everyone in the world young and old who are considering doing hard drugs: please don’t. You will not only ruin yourself but you will rip apart your family. You too might have a young cousin who needs you, or a brother, or a nephew. Drugs are not toys. They are not something fun to experiment with. One time is all it takes to kill someone. You don’t have to be addicted to die. Happy birthday cuz I miss you.
How are you feeling today? You can do this, because you are strong, brave and amazing. (Yes, you are pretty awesome btw) Remember to eat and drink today, take care of yourself (if not for you, then for me and the ones that care?). Keep going, you will find people and things worth living for, if not already :)
Thank you. I’m feeling really crappy today but what other choice do I have but to get over it really? And I will thank you
Please
Please someone message me. Give me just one reason why I should keep putting up with this shit. Someone please give me a reason to keep going, even a small reason something please.

depression sitting at the left corner. ana sitting beside depression. binging-mia at the fridge. anxiety crying at left (down) corner. self-harm/cutting whispering to me, persuading me.
Sorry if I’m offending anyone by reblogging this when it doesn’t apply to me in any way, but I can’t keep my eyes off of it. It’s just so fascinating to me. I love this image. That creepy smile on depression and anorexia’s faces. And the eyes on self-harm/cutting. It’s just. Woah.
My life.
I love this because it portrays mental illness so well. But I hate it at the same time because its so true.
What they don't mention about #growingupwithstrictparents:
- The resentment that begins to build up and damage your relationship with your parents because your missing out on being a kid.
- The self destructive tendencies that develop when you get your freedom.
- Extreme Behaviour that can be dangerous because you feel as if you have to catch up on all the life you have been missing.
- A constant sadness that your never going to live life enough.
- Developing anxiety over doing things as simple as riding the bus.
- Massive issues with authority.
- Fear of commitment because you feel as though it is going to tie you down and take away from your freedom again.
etc…
‘ - Fear of commitment because you feel as though it is going to tie you down and take away from your freedom again. ‘ This is is me in a nutshell
All of this.
#compulsive lying all the time because youre so used to doing so that telling the truth is weird#being terrified of asking if a friend can come over#hiding everything you feel and then exploding#being manipulative#The self destructive tendencies that develop when you get your freedom#that one is the realest one tho (via howlingcutemando)
Feeling like you’re useless when you’re not doing something productive.
never being able to stand up for yourself, because of your inherent fear you will be severely punished - even if you are in the right
feeling you are never right, even if you are
caving easily to abusive situations, because you grew up learning how to be controlled, that it was “wrong” to exercise power, that it was “wrong” to defend yourself, and not knowing anything about self-respect or having self-esteem
second-guessing yourself nonstop
hiding your entire life from your strict family - even if it means they go to their deathbeds not knowing what has happened to you, because it will just mean you earn only their disapproval or disgust.
non-stop self-hate
non-stop paranoia
-feeling like you have to “prove” yourself
-never feeling good enough
-developing insecurities that eventually grow but stay hidden because you’ve been told that maybe asking a question a few times extra just to be sure everything’s ok is “weird”
-being afraid to make friendships, reach out, or go out because your afraid of doing something wrong
-always being afraid that someone is mad at you
-getting criticized for years on end then getting questioned on all sides as to why you’re so negative about yourself
I’m glad I’ve been outgrowing a lot of this, and moving out worked to be a good thing between me and my parents.
To all of my friends, this is the reason why I do the things I do
I don’t always relate so heavily to these kinds of things but damn if I don’t feel 99% of these
Constantly looking for approval in everything you do: grade grubbing, people pleaser, putting literally everyone else before you.
Reblog if you will answer LITERALLY ANY anon questions.
