These are all so funny! I love how most everyone enjoys a good hot chocolate.
Number Two and Kate will make smoothies/protein shakes together! It takes a bit of coaxing to get Kate onboard, but once she has some time to think about it, it’s one of her favourite drinks! The efficiency of not having to actually stop and chew when you’re in a hurry is very pleasing to the both of them.
Rhonda makes the best lemonade. She can make it plain or add all the things: mint, strawberries, cinnamon, anything!
Miss Perumal, randomly, strikes me as the kind of person who enjoys milkshakes, and experiments with them for fun. Reynie probably had a lot of fun taste-testing for her when he was the only one who got to try them.
Milligan, I think, loves apple cider. He probably messes around with different apples and spices all of the time, so when it gets to fall he’ll bring a regular, tried-and-true version, and then whatever craziness he’s come up with that year.
Mr. Benedict would like some horchata, in addition to hot chocolate and tea, of course. I don’t know a whole ton about it, other than it tastes pretty vanilla-y, but it seems to be made with rice, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla, and milk/sugar/etc.
Curtain would drink parsley soda and no I don’t take suggestions.
S. Q. definitely has some paint water trauma, but I also think that Mr. B and the others get him one of those big waterbottles that holds like half a gallon and the lid seals, so once he learns the joys of drinking actual, clean water, he warms up to it. Pretty soon he’s putting fruit and stuff in it so that it’s got more taste! (Somebody hydrate this boy please)
Reynie really likes drinking tea, obviously, and I quite like your idea that he prefers lighter white/green teas, but I also think the only way he enjoys black tea is when it’s all dressed up with the milk and sugar and things in it. He drinks it like a fancy old British woman or not at all.
Sticky secretly likes fruit juice a lot, but he feels super bad because of how much sugar is in it. He sneaks it sometimes when no one’s looking, but once Reynie caught him and told him it wasn’t a horrible crime to enjoy what you get to drink, so now he drinks it more regularly.
Constance starts drinking sparkling water to spite the others, because she’ll leave it around or offer it to her family when they aren’t expecting it just to watch their faces. However, it does keep her drinking actual water some of the time, so the adults let it slide. (She stops when Curtain complements her on being sophisticated for once on her short life)
Dr. Garrison, in my imagination, actually hates the taste of most alcohol and drinks it for other reasons, but she also forces herself to almost solely drink that thick “juice” that’s made from root vegetables and tastes nasty because “it’s good for you”. Once the others introduce her to the wonderful world of not hating yourself and having fun once and a while, she joins Number Two, Miss Perumal, and Milligan with their drink experiments! Her favorite drink is hot chocolate or green teas, though.
