Sooooo, as I have slowly descended into the abyss that is Reylo Fanfiction I’ve noticed a trend that I don’t really like. Recently I noticed that all the stories paint Han as the aggressor parent. Like he’s the one that doesn’t connect with Ben on any level, or he’s the most against Ben as a person, or they just all-around have a terrible relationship. While Leia is the better parent the one that was always loving and understanding and at the end of the day he forgives her first or wants to make amends with her first. But personally I just don’t think that that would be the case because of these reasons:
1. Han knows what it’s like to never have anyone in your corner so I think he would go hard in the paint for Ben.
2. Han 100% does not agree in traditional schooling so I know he would not have wanted to send Ben to the middle of nowhere to train with Luke.
3. Finally Leah has always been a princess first and everything else second so I feel like she would’ve wanted to be the one to create structure and follow the rules to set an example politically.
With these points in mind I think the reason that Han and Leia had a falling out after the situation between Luke and Ben or even before when Ben first left was because Han never wanted to send Ben there in the first place. As much as he acted like he wanted to be lone ranger no ties to anything kind of guy, he wanted a family which is why him and Rey had such an instant connection.
So I’m not saying that he’s the perfect father because I know this man wouldn’t have been at all. But I think he didn’t want Ben to go and Ben was always under the impression that Han wanted to send him to that school as well which is why he was so mad at him. Because he thought that he would be the one person to stand up for him and not make him go to the butt fuck of nowhere to train under granola Luke. And Han only really knowing how to run from his problems just got mad at the situation and dipped into the galaxy, which made the situation 10 times worse.
So if someone could write me a fanfiction where Han is not the villain parent that would be really great!
P.S. Don’t even get me started on the way Rey acts in a lot of fanfics.

THE FLASH IS A FUCKING MESS AND THAT’s THAT ON THAT!

Ok so I totally get it how Barry sent Nora back to the future was way harsh and will probably cause some shit later but I can understand why. Now hear me out, almost every season Barry has really cared for and trusted somebody and it has turned out they are lying about major situations. I think lies from people he loves is Barry’s no no switch. It’s that one thing he can’t tolerate anymore because of how many times it’s happened. I see people saying well he’s given killer frost/Caitlin multiple chances but not his daughter. But what has killer frost lied really about we all knew home girl was evil from jump and had to make the choice on her own to do good. Nora lied for months and I think that was just too much for Barry. I don’t think Barry should have taken her back with out at least saying something to Iris but I can understand why he felt he had to be a complete hard ass about it and why he was able to do it with out a second thought.
“I always felt like something of an outsider. But I identified with people up on the screen. That made me feel like I wanted to be up on the screen too. I felt like eventually I would get there.”
