The class I’m currently taking and will probably keep retaking it’s incredible. I’ve learned a truck ton. It’s “Dynamic Landscape Drawing & Composition.“

Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, Star Wars - All Media Types Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Obi-Wan Kenobi/Anakin Skywalker, Minor or Background Relationship(s) Characters: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker Additional Tags: Time Travelling Obi-Wan Kenobi, Time Loop, Canon Divergence - Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Bad Decisions, What Would Quinlan Vos Do?, Force Bond (Star Wars), Force Sex (Star Wars), Premature Ejaculation, Misdirection, Virgin Obi-Wan Kenobi Summary:
The twentieth time through what has got to be the worst, and longest, day anyone has ever experienced without dying irrevocably, Obi-Wan wakes up on the Negotiator, checks the chrono to be positive of the date and swears a bloody streak, then comms Anakin. He has tried this day doing what he thought best, what he thought Yoda would think best, then Shaak, then Mace, then every other Jedi he’s ever respected.
He has been putting off trying what he believes Quinlan’s approach would be, or at least what Quinlan would counsel Obi-Wan to do, but the time has come.
i love that both the 'revenge of the sith' novelization and 'master & apprentice' take care to point out that obi wan is, in fact, a very talented pilot who enjoys flying immensely. but enter anakin skywalker, with his spinning and his speeding and his proclivity for ship-crashing, and suddenly obi-wan is as uneasy in the copilot chair of a jedi transport as he is playing nice at a political gathering. but he still lets anakin pilot for the both of them more often than not because he knows anakin loves the freedom and the danger and because he's willing to concede both his enjoyment and his comfort if it means anakin can be happy.
no one look at me.
oh my god
We’d like to take a moment to appreciate stunt choreographer Nick Gillard and how his insight shaped not only the entire fight sequence between Anakin and Obi-Wan in Episode III, but Matthew Stover’s words in the movie’s novelization. (x)
“Obi is taking it and taking it, and hoping it’ll lead to a point where Anakin will run out of steam.” - NG
“Anakin followed, constantly attacking; Obi-Wan again gave ground…Mustafar hummed with death behind his back, only a moment away, somewhere out there among the rivers of molten rock. Obi-Wan let Anakin drive him toward it. It was a place, he decided, they should reach together.”
“That toe-to-toe thing shows that they can’t get through each other’s defenses, because they know each other’s moves so intimately. I think it’s something like forty moves, I did the first eight then I let them go with it.” - NG
“Blade-to-blade, they were identical. After thousands of hours in lightsaber sparring, they knew each other better than brothers, more intimately than lovers; they were complementary halves of a single warrior.”
“My take was that Obi is the central character in that duel. He wouldn’t try and kill Anakin.“
"The ruthless look on Hayden’s face - the ‘You can’t beat me, Master’ attitude - said it all. In that fight, Anakin knows that Obi is not going to kill him…” - NG
“In every exchange, Obi-Wan gave ground. It was his way. And he knew that to strike Anakin down would burn his own heart to ash.”
