Assays don’t always go to plan

After the discovery of water vapour on K2-18 b published in Nature Astronomy yesterday we ask ourselves the age old question about life on other planets. Enter the Drake Equation, and a silly cartoon... This is something I've had in my head for ages, as you can see by the completely "current" meme, but I've finally managed to get it out of my brain and onto your screens! Both the Fermi Paradox and the Drake Equation are great thought experiments, and a great nerdy conversation starter, so I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
