The Game - Crush!Mattheo x Reader

A/N: so its been a while. I took some time away from writing, as I was having trouble and still am. I have ideas but am struggling to write them out.

But I managed to get this out. Sorry if its not that good. Yet its a start of getting back into writing.

Requests are open, and may help me 😅

Summary: eavesdropping, a somewhat innocent game and one friend helping two people.

It was late afternoon, not yet the evening. Those few hours between end of classes and dinner in the Great Hall. Moments of freedom, to do as one pleases. Many students took the opportunity to hang out with friends and relax, while others studied or worked on homework. Maybe a mix of both.

Mattheo Riddle, bless him, had tried to study. But his concentration faltered within twenty minutes, while Draco and Lorenzo continued on. Theodore only had to open a textbook and he was already done, ditching his mates.

Of course Mattheo sat there for a while. Quill in hand, doodling on his parchment. He was a little restless, and bored. Eventually getting up and wondering the rows of books. Watching other students, commenting in his head about them, or using his wand to mess with them.

But then he heard voices, familiar female voices. He crept over to a shelf of books, parting them to look at the group situated in the back of the library. Sitting there was Pansy, Tracy, Millicent and you.

The moment his eyes landed on you they softened, even sporting heart eyes if this was a comic. Mattheo was smitten with you, crushing hard. Stumbling over his words and feet when in your presences, which was not normal for him. And why Theodore makes fun of every time you’ve been around.

None the wiser of the addition to your group, you and your friends continued to work and talk. The topic had been on various students or teachers from the day. Airing frustrations and observations, with some added witty comments about appearance or intelligence, ending with quiet laughing.

“How about a game? To make this homework bearable!” Sighed Pansy.

You and the other two agreed, feeling the same as her.

“How about...” Pansy said slowly, glancing around the small area.

Mattheo quickly moved out of sight, in case the girl’s eyes were able to spot him glancing between the books.

When Pansy's gaze was once more on the girls, she smiled wickedly. “How about shag, kiss, kill!”

“Ah, I think its shag, kiss, marry” stated Tracy.

“No. Its kiss, marry, kill” retorted Millicent.

Pansy laughed that high pitch, airy laugh. “They’re all correct. Just depends on the party and their preference".

You all looked around at each other, then some back on forth on which version to play. Ultimately, with some quiet arguing from Pansy, you all went with her version.

“I was the one to suggest the game!” was the main reason she gave and argued about.

“Alright...who's first?” Asked Tracy slowly.

“Pansy!” Millicent said quickly, before said girl could volunteer her or any of the others.

Pansy shot her a dirty look, but wasn’t going to back down. “Fine. Who are the three I have to pick from?” She paused, then added quickly, “you each pick a name!”

You laughed, knowing if either Tracy or Millicent were to pick all three names, they’d pick the worst guys.

“Fine, fine" waved Tracy. “Hmm... Dean Thomas".

Next was Millicent. “Ron Weasly".

And then you. “...Blaise”.

You know she had hopped for Draco, but you couldn’t be that kind. Yet, Blaise was a better option then the other two on offer.

Mattheo, having returned to his viewing spot, could see the annoyance on Pansy's face from her choices. And he silently couldn’t wait to hear which she would shag, kiss, kill. But he had notice you were being merciful with your choice.

“Fine!” Pansy huffed. “Shag Blaise. Kiss... Dean. Kill Weasly. Happy!”

You all snickered at her response. Very happy with her answers. From there Pansy picked Millicent. Who was given Harry Potter, Crabbe and Goyle. And upsetting her.

“Shag Potter, kiss... Goyle. Kill Crabbe" Millicent huffed, while you and the other girls laughed.

Even Mattheo had to hide his snicker.

Next up was Tracy. Her choices were Lorenzo, Seamus Finnigan and Michael Corner.

“Easy" she laughed. “Shag Lorenzo. Kiss Michael. Kill Seamus".

That was the lacklustre round. Even Mattheo knew it. But now it was your turn, which had Mattheo on edge. Who would the girls pick for you? Would one of them be him? If so, what would you pick for him? But then, if he wasn’t an option, the idea made him want to punch someone...

“(Y/N), your turn!” Came an excited Pansy, to excited Mattheo noted.

Unfortunately he didn’t notice said girl glancing the bookshelf, or the space he was looking through. Pansy knew. She always did. But no one around were the wiser.

“But I think for you, we should do it differently" Pansy added with a grin.

Both Millicent and Tracy protested, but Pansy shot them down. Knowing she was currently playing match maker between both Slytherin's, because you and Mattheo were absolutely hopeless.

“I decided to change it, get over it! Now... for you (Y/N), it will be kiss, marry, kill...”

You rolled your eyes but felt uneasy. “A-alright...”

“Theodore!” Tracy said suddenly, starting the choices.

Millicent laughed. “Draco".

Pansy glared at Millicent for that one. But then shot you a smug look, “Mattheo...”

You froze. Of course she would pick the one guy you have a crush on. Your jaw tightened as you gave her a look. And in turn Pansy just grinned wider.

“Well?” Encouraged Pansy, “your answers?”

You had been backed into a corner. Two out of three choices would give them the idea you liked those guys, or confirm your crush on Mattheo. But then if you picked to kill him, it was also a possible give away. So damned if you do, and damned if you don’t.

All the while, Mattheo had listened and heard his name. Now he gripped the shelf and books, waiting in anticipation for your answer. He swallowed, hoping to hear what he wanted to hear...

“Fine...” you sighed, staying poised. “You want my answer... Kiss Draco. Marry... Mattheo. Kill Theodore. Happy?”

Pansy was ecstatic, knowing the eavesdropper would have heard. “Peachy" she said with a chuckle. And the games went on, getting more ridiculous with student’s names.

Mattheo was left frozen on the spot. Grip loosening, tension leaving his body. You had said you would marry him. This had to be some kind of confirmation, right?

Soon it was time to get ready for dinner. You and the girls packed up and were leaving. Only Pansy hung back, saying she’d catch up. And once they were gone, she looked to the bookshelf.

“Alright, come out Mattheo" she said all knowingly.

Reluctantly he came out, rubbing the back of my neck. “How long did you know I was there?”

Pansy just grinned. “Just before I said about playing a game. I saw the books move around, but didn’t know it was you till Millicent’s round...”

He laughed. “Of course...”

Pansy leant against the back of her chair. “Well, now what?”

Mattheo looked at her confused.

She sighed. “Oh seriously! What are you going to do about (Y/N)?”

Surprise crossed the boys face, “h-huh?”

Pansy rolled her eyes. “Don’t play dumb. I know you like her! You’re a bumbling mess, even when she just walks past!”

Mattheo could feel his face warming up. “A-am not!” he protested, but he knew it was pointless.

“Really?” Pansy retorted, sharp look on her face. “You fumbled and ended up in the lake that one time. Not to mention fell off your broom-”

“A-alright, alright!” He huffed in annoyance, “you made your point...but a game doesn’t prove anything".

Her grin widened. “Well, no... but I know for a fact that (Y/N) has a massive crush on you. Why do you think she walks past you so much? Even when it’s not always the direction she has to go...”

With that, Pansy picked up her bag and left Mattheo standing there. Now learning new information about you. Slowly it ticked over in his brain. And adding up, dots connecting.

“(Y/N)... likes me?” His eyes widen, (Y/N) likes me!”

And that was how one friend and a game helped you and Mattheo out. Only, you didn’t know it... yet.

Suck And Blow - Eddie x BFF!Reader

A/N: I seem to be on a Eddie kick at the moment. And I wrote this last night, when I couldn't sleep. So forgive me if its rambly or not that good. But I had to get it out if my head. I'm doing my best to work through writers block, and lack of motivation 😅

Summary: a party game leads to feelings coming out.

Warning/s: ooc, au, rambling, possible spelling/grammar mistakes

“Alright children, the game is suck and blow" Steve's obnoxious, trying to be cool, voice tried to reach over the music from the other room.

Nancy had talked you into coming, and because of that, your best friend Eddie had to tag along. Something about watching the sheep, but really it was to look out for you.

Besides yourself, Eddie, Nancy and Steve, there was Jonathan, Robin and a few others from your year sitting in a small circle. Which was fine, perfect really, before stupid Carol and Tommy joined.

They sat across from you and Eddie. Carol was giving you the stink eye, no doubt silently questioning why you and Eddie were there. But at the end of the day, it was Steve's party. And you were all cool.

“Ah, how do we play?” Tina spoke up, sounding clueless.

Steve looked at her thinking she was joking, but the confused look spoke volumes. “Alright, well, you take this playing card" – he holds up a ten of clubs between two fingers – “hold it to your lips and suck, keeping it in place. Then you turn to the person next to you, place lips to lips. But obviously, the card is in the way. Then blow, when the person before you sucks, taking the card from you. Got it?”

Tina blinked before slowly nodding, on some level understanding. At least eighty percent of the circle had kept up with Steve. Everyone shifted, getting ready to start the game. Of course Steve started it off, off-loading the playing card to Nancy, who then passed it to Jonathan.

You watched when Carol got the card, and went to pass it to Tommy. Only she accidentally miss timed her blow, and the card fell as their lips met. Your stomach churned watching the two idiots go from kissing to full on sucking face.

“Alright, alright! Enough!” Robin called, looking like she was about to be sick.

You snickered at your friend, but also felt unease with their open display. You glanced at Eddie, who had decided to spark up a joint. Before he could take his first draw, you stole it from him.

“Hey!?” He said in protest, and not anger.

You grinned and took a hit, blowing the smoke in his face. “What?”

Eddie rolled his eyes and snatched back his joint. Finally getting to enjoy his weed, while the game was reset. This time Steve sent the card around the opposite way, just to avoid his ex-friends for the moment.

Vickie received the card from Steve, before turning to some guy to pass it on. Thankfully everyone was playing the game correctly. You received the card from another random guy, and then turned to Eddie.

Something flickered in his eyes for the briefest moment, then it was gone. Quickly he leaned in, and with it you could smell the smoke of his joint mixed with that aftershave you liked. Maybe it was his smell, along with the alcohol and a hit if a joint, your head began to swim.

For a moment you were thinking and feeling those things you’d repressed when it came to your best friend. For the last four years you had started to look and think about Eddie differently, like romantically.

But it was just that. Looking, thinking and feeling. You wouldn’t, couldn’t ruin the friendship. Because losing Eddie would be like losing a limb. And yet, at times, you’d indulge in those thoughts. And in turn, it would be upsetting. Then you would lock it all up again.

In that moment, lost in those thoughts and feelings, Eddie leaned in and you slipped. You forgot to suck, and air that left your lungs caused the card to slip, falling between you and Eddie’s lips, which came into contact.

When it registered, his lips pressed to yours, your eyes widened. Then Eddie’s eyes widened. Those all around you fell quiet, holding their breathes. Along with yourself and your best friend.

This was new territory. Or was it stepping over the line? You weren’t sure, maybe not entirely caring right now. Because you and Eddie were kissing. Two best friends, lips pressed together, but not moving.

Then you felt it, his lips pressing firmer to your own. And then Eddie tilting his head a little, the kiss becoming more. You could hear the murmurs around you, but the way your heart was racing, was louder.

It should be wrong. But it felt so right. All those thoughts, all the feelings, and they were nothing compared to the real thing. Then when Eddie’s tongue entered your mouth, my lord. All was definitely right in the world – this world, between you both.

But then reality came rushing back in. The sound of distant music and laughter. Then awareness of everybody in the circle around you. And Eddie, kissing you. You heard Carol's laughter, loud and sharp.

Snapping back you looked at Eddie, and then to Carol and Tommy. Who were thoroughly amused by the show you’d just put on. Then you glanced at all the other faces, which ranged from horror to surprise. Steve and Robin, the most surprised.

“I-I, I...” you sputtered, words lodged in your throat.

Carol let out a loud snort and more laughter. To which both Robin and Steve told her to knock it off and shut up. But the damage was done. The tough exterior you wore crumbled, and that insecure girl came out. Which only Eddie ever saw.

You scrambled to your feet, and took off. Anywhere was better than facing Carol and Tommy. You heard voices calling your name, telling you to stay. But you couldn’t.

You moved through the bodies of various students, and then finally escaping out the front door. Down the steps, along the path and almost to the curb when a larger hand grabbed your upper arm. You were spun around to face a worried Eddie Munson.

“Sweetheart, wow” he said in a hurry, moving closer to you. Eyes looking over your face.

You tried to get free, but when you couldn’t, you pushed Eddie back. Who let go and staggered back a little.

“Geeze, what was that for?” Worry laced every word, and a touch of hurt.

“D-don’t” you managed to get out while shaking your head. “Don’t act so, so unbothered!”

“Unbothered? Unbothered by what!?” Eddie said sharper then intended.

You stepped back. “Oh don’t act dumb, Eddie! Y-you know!”

Eddie blinked, before running a hand through his hair while letting out a noise in frustration. He knew what you meant, and that he was acting dumb. But he was trying to figure it all out. Or rather, figure out how to tell you the truth.

“Fine!” He threw up his hands. “I know! I know exactly what you’re talking about. That kiss!”

You swallowed, eyes widening. The urge to run rising but the way your best friend was looking at you – his gaze locking you in place. You’d never seen Eddie look at you like that.

Anger, frustration, fear. But also that something else. It all swam in those damn eyes of his.

“Alright, so we kissed" Eddie huffed. “It happened and-”

“Last time I checked, friends don’t kiss” you stated calmly. To calmly.

Eddie blinked. Your words hitting his ears, but taking a moment to process. And it put you on edge. Because what would he say to that? Did those words hurt him? As they hit you a little deeply.

Last time I checked, friends don’t kiss...

It was the truth. But a truth you didn’t want to believe. Then you remembered how you didn’t want to ruin your friendship.

“I-I should go...” you muttered, looking away from Eddie.

But before you could move, he snapped out of his daze. “No! W-we have to talk about this!”

You heard him yet kept moving. You turned and walked to the side walk, and headed in the direction of your home. All the while Eddie was hot on your heels. He was ranting, like Eddie always did. Some of it you could make out, and others you couldn’t. But you didn’t stop.

“Would you stop! And talk to me!” Eddie's voice rang out in the quiet street. To which you finally halted.

You took a few deep breathes. “T-there's nothing to talk about".

Eddie let out a string of words in frustration, before moving around to stand before you. He grabbed a hold of your upper arms, face leaning down and into line with yours.

“Nothing to talk about!? Really!?” He was very annoyed. “Because we kissed! That’s something we should talk about".

Finally you lifted your gaze to meet his. And you could see the worry and hurt, but also that something from earlier. Only it wasn’t going away.

You sighed, breath coming out shaking. “F-fine...we, we kissed...”

Now Eddie sighed. “Yeah, we did...”

Now you both were skirting around it. Even after Eddie was the one to bring it up. You continued to look at the other, watching each other. You swallowed, about to speak but Eddie seemed to beat you to the punch.

“W-was it bad?” He asked softly, almost scared. “The kiss, I mean...”

Slowly you shook your head. “N-no...I-it was fine".

“Just fine?” Eddie pushed.

You took a moment  to think about it. Remembering how good his lips felt, how right it was. How it gave you butterflies, and made your heart skip a beat. And how it just proved your feelings for the metal head.

“It was...perfect" you admitted softly. “I-it felt right...”

Hearing those words from your mouth made Eddie's heart skip a beat. “Yeah? Seriously?” There was hope dripping from every letter.

Slowly you nodded your head, eyes showing him the truth – that you weren’t lying.

A bright smile formed on Eddie’s lips, and before you could say another word, he was leaning in and kissing you again. Only this time it was on purpose. It was by choice. And you were accepting it.

When there was no fight back, Eddie drew you closer. His arms wrapping around you, as your arms moved to wrap around his neck. The kiss grew deeper, his tongue entering your mouth and taking charge.

You were lost, lost in Eddie. Your best friend, the boy of your dreams. And for him, you were the girl of his dreams.

Soon Eddie pulled back, you both breathing a little heavy. He looked down at you like you hung the moon. And that was when you finally worked out what that look in his eyes was. It was love.

“You’re my best friend sweetheart" Eddie spoke up softly. “And always will be. But I can’t help feeling more for you...”

You smiled softly up at him. “Same here, idiot...”

That was it. A stupid party game led to this moment. One were you finally got out that you both were in love with the other. Though not exactly in those words. But good enough.

Slow Sex With Mattheo Riddle

It would be a surprise to anyone that Mattheo Riddle liked slow sex. Like pain staking slow. Long, leisurely strokes – almost maddening. Eyes gazing into yours, with lips everywhere they can touch as he unhurriedly takes you apart.

But, would you tell this to anyone? No.

You would rather they believed your boyfriend was a fast and rough type of lover. Only satisfied with hurried , deep thrusts. Loud moaning and dirty talk. Because that had been what you thought he liked, before actually having your way with him.

And sure, Mattheo does like that. Yet, he enjoys going slow more.

His lips lazily brushed the column of your neck, even dragging them against your flesh. His body hovering over yours, resting on his arms. You bodies, every now and then brushing each other as he rocked into you.

Your nails gripped his back, gradually digging them in harder from how crazy he was driving you. You felt so full, and yet Mattheo's slow motions were driving you mad.

“Fast, please" you whined softly. “I-I need more".

He chuckled against your neck. “Now, now pet” – Mattheo thrusted, causing you to moan – “patience is a virtue”.

His voice was laced with humour. Enjoying the feel of you, making you needy. He returned to rocking his length into you, only adding in a thrust here and there to make you moan, and angry.

“Shove your virtue" you huffed.

And in response Mattheo slowed down even more. Which had you protesting.

“You’re such a brat" he chuckled pulling back to look down at you. “Why can’t I just take my time with you? Enjoy the feel of you? Draw out our release?”

Every word hit the pit of your stomach. The way his voice was soft – tender, warm and caring. Because Matthoe does care for you. The want and need to take care of you, to worship you.

Mattheo leaned down and softly kissed your lips. “Love, I just want to spend all my time enjoying this – enjoying you. So let me go slow, please?”

How could you say no to that? The needy boy, lost in you.

You sighed. “Fine...but the next time you better do it the way I want it".

Mattheo grinded. “Of course love".

Without missing a beat, he kissed your lips once more before returning to rocking into you. His lips returning to your neck, and chest. As a compromise, Mattheo knew you loved when he paid attention to your chest.

With every rock of his hips, length dragging in and out slowly, he sucked a nipple. The deeper he entered you, the hard he’d suck. The perfect pairing. The moans he received from you, and the way you tightened around him, was driving him crazy.

But he never changed speed. Rocking and leisurely thrusting into you. Gradually you both grew closer and closer to release. Before finally hitting peak, the wave washing over you. You came whimpering his name.

Costumes - Eddie x Reader Drabble

A/N: sorry, not sorry about this one. My mind was having a silly moment. And this was born.

Summary: discussing costumes for Halloween among friends...

Warning/s: humour, silliness, possible spelling/grammar mistakes

“Really? Do we have to do costumes?” Sighed Steve – you’re cool, yet uncool, cousin.

You looked over at him from your spot on the love seat, Eddie at your side. A look of shock gracing your face.

“Ah, yeah. Its Halloween! The one night us outcasts get to be ourselves without judgement” you replied, voice unwavering and confident.

Eddie, the supportive boyfriend, just grinned and pulled you tight to his side. “She’s right".

Steve rolled his eyes, though knowing and dealing with your relationship with the metal head, part of him still struggled. Call him over protective, but you mean a lot to Steve, and he would beat the shit out of Eddie if he ever hurt you.

“Oh sure. Agree with her, no problem" Steve's tone was sarcastic and annoyed.

Dustin, Mike and Lucas chuckled from their slot on the living room floor, before going silent from that pointed look Steve shot them.

“Costumes aren’t so bad" came the defence of Dustin. “Just think of all the girls who will throw themselves at you, if you wear the right costume".

Steve let the youngers words mellow in his head. He had a point. There are many iconic men he could dress up as. And Steve knows he could have any female he wanted.

“...alright. But no embarrassing costumes!” Steve agreed, looking over everyone in the room. “I’m looking at you Henderson, Wheeler, Sinclair and Munson”.

All four protested. Taking offence to Steve's call out. Yet they all knew he was right. Given the chance the needs would nerd out. The three younger males enjoyed dressing up, the excitement to be as accurate as possible.

Eddie, on the other hand, would half ass the job. But damn did he give it his all acting like the character he was portraying. He liked to be over the top, and sure as hell sell that he was – is the character.

Amongst the arguments and chatter – that being Robin, ignoring the protesting youngsters – you smiled like the cat that caught the canary. You placed your hand on Eddie’s chest, fingers caressing. That got his attention, for Eddie’s eyes glanced to you in question.

“I know what I want to dress up as...” you said cheekily.

Eddie raised an eyebrow, waiting for your reply.

“...a lollipop" you said, grin widening before leaning closer to his ear. “Because I know you’d lick me".

Eddie’s face blanketed. Then his face grew hot, cheeks growing pink. And yet, a small smirk found its way to his lips. You’d embarrassed him, yes. But you knew he liked the idea way too much.

“Oh my god!” Cried Steve in disgust. “D-don't say anything like that in front of me!”

You could hear how mortified your cousin was. Did you care? No. Because no matter what costume you wore, Eddie was bound to lick you. All over and out.

The Secret - Eddie Munson x Reader

A/N: I finally wrote something, just not what I was meant to write haha. Forgive me if this isn't good, my first time writing for Eddie.

Sumarry: secrets have a way of coming out. You just didn't expect it to be so humours, or comical.

“Y'know, you were in my dream last night?” Eddie grinned, sitting on the edge of his bed.

You shot him a look before rolling your eyes and continuing to gather your clothes. “Eddie, I was in your bed last night" you countered.

“Yeah. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t dream of you" he fired back, still with that shit eating grin on his face.

You managed to put on your jeans and fastened them, before moving over to stand before the curly, long-haired brunette. He looked up at you, in just jeans and a bra, while you looked down at him. He still wore his grin, and you softly smiled at him. Finally you leaned down, pressing your lips to his.

Like every time your lips touched you felt that spark. And when his hands found your hips, even throw the denim you could feel their warmth.

It was moments like this that you wanted – needed. Along with the young man before you. But in order for it, you had to sneak around behind your cousin and friend’s backs. Not ideal, or something you would normally do, but Eddie didn’t have the best reputation. Not that it mattered to you.

Not to mention your cousin is overly protective of you. Steve – your cousin – has made it his mission, since you moved to Hawkins over a year ago, to keep every male away from you. Something about knowing what they’re after or something like that. You weren’t actively listening, nor do you most of the time he speaks.

You do have Dustin, Mike and Lucas to thank for introducing you to Eddie, as they invited you to join them at lunch. From there it was history. A history kept quiet.

You pulled back from the kiss when Eddie's hands moved to grab your ass. You made a small protesting noise, your hands pressed to his shoulders and pushing him away.

“Nuh, not happening. Or else I’m going to be late for work" you said with a laugh.

“Call in sick" Eddie said trying to draw you close once more, but you weren’t having it. “We can be sick in bed together".

And there was that cheeky smile. The one he always used to win you over. He had used it to get you to sneak out, to stay over and to skip school. But not this time.

You gripped his chin, bringing your eyes level with his. “I would love to...but I can’t flake on work. Or else I will be fired, not to mention Steve will lecture me. Since he loves to do that".

You released his chin, as well as moved away from him, returning to scrounging the floor for your t-shirt. But when the rooms dark, and you both like black, it gets hard to differentiate who owns what.

Eddie suddenly sighed as he fell back onto the bed. Your eyes looking up, and admiring the sight of him in just pants. His chest bare and calling for your lips. But you had to be responsible, reliable – even if it kills you.

“Ah, you better hurry" Eddie’s voice brought you out of your thoughts. “Or else ya gonna be late".

Your eyes snapped to the clock by his bed. The time a bright red, and proving Eddie to be right. You groaned, cursing both the man on the bed and the time.

With quick hands you moved the clothes on Eddie’s floor before grabbing your t-shirt. Hastily you throw it on, and then worked your fingers through your hair and tied it up. All the while Eddie watched on with that grin.

You moved over to your bag, making sure everything was in there. When happy with that, you headed for the bedroom door, and planned to head out.

“What? No goodbye, or goodbye kiss?” Called Eddie with a chuckle.

“Bite me" you called back.

“Already did sweetheart!” Was the last you heard of Eddie.

For you were quick to get in your car, and head back into town, and to the video store. You could kill that man for not even giving you enough time for a cup of coffee. And after keeping you awake most of the night.

“Asshole" you muttered.

You arrived five minutes late. Thankfully your manager gave you a break, but it didn’t mean they went easy on you. Rewinding tapes and stocking shelves had never been this torturous. Its all you did for over half your shift. Then you got to hang out at the counter.

Just in time to see Eddie’s van pull up, and the long-haired man get out. He sauntered up to stores door, and then entered. The whole time his eyes were on you, a knowing smile on his face.

You remained cool, calm. He swaggered up to the counter, then dramatically placed a couple of tapes down between you both. You rolled your eyes, softly shaking your head, as you grabbed said tapes to check back in.

“You better have rewound them" you stated.

“You know I did sweetheart. After all, you were-" Eddie began to say with playfulness.

“Don’t even finish that sentence" you cut him off, a serious look in your eyes.

Eddie looked around the empty store. “No ones around".

“My manger is around" you huffed. “And they would love to snitch to Steve...”

That sobered Eddie up, for he softly nodded his head. “Sorry".

You spared him a gentle smile, and that was all he needed to bring back his own happy smile. Deciding to get a few more movies, even something you would like, Eddie took off to browse the selections on offer. Which gave you a moment to relax.

But just a moment.

For not even two minutes later the door opened, bell jingling, and in walked Steve and Robin. Your face dropped the slightest. But you put a smile back on your face.

“Ah, hey" was how you greeted them. Silently hoping neither could see the worry in you.

And why were you worried? Your cousin, and friend had entered the premises that your secret whatever it is was also here. And doesn’t always take note of who was in the room. So, there was a good chance everything could come unravelled in seconds or minutes.

“Hey" they both greeted.

“You on your own?” Steve asked.

“Uh, no. Allen’s around somewhere...” you replied finishing with Eddie’s returned tapes.

Steve moved to rest his arms on the counter, while Robin stood nearby. You glanced at them, and then discreetly over to where Eddie was. You sighed seeing he was still browsing.

You returned to talk with Steve and Robin about some upcoming shifts. You deduced your cousin was fishing for you to cover for him.

“Oh come on (Y/N/N), I'm asking a few, small favors!” Sighed Steve in desperation.

“I’d say its more then a few small favors Steve” you retorted. “You do realise I have a social life to, right?”

Robin snickered from her spot next to Steve.

And it was also the moment Eddie rocked up to the counter. He smiled at you, placing three tapes on the counter. You looked at each cover, along with Steve and Robin.

“Really? Pretty In Pink, Munson?” Asked a surprised Steve.

You swallowed. While Eddie just shrugged, trying to be nonchalant.

“What? My girl loves it" Eddie said before thinking. Causing you to falter for a moment, before returning to checking them out.

“You? Got a girl?” Steve continued to ask in surprise.

You noticed how Eddie bristled up, mouth opening, ready to speak. But before he could, an unlikely person took that moment to speak up.

“Hey (Y/N), when did you own a Dio t-shirt?” Robin said in confusion. “Because I’ve seen your band tee collection, and have never seen that before...”

You quickly glanced down at your chest. And you were in fact wearing a Dio t-shirt. Which means the t-shirt you grabbed this morning at Eddie’s, was not your t-shirt. Your eyes widened, and then did Robin's when she must have worked out how you obtained the t-shirt, from someone else.

Both Eddie and Steve had put aside their little squabble to look between you and Robin. Steve looked confused beyond that of which you’d seen him before. And Eddie, well that grin returned.

He knew. Eddie knew you had put on the wrong t-shirt, his t-shirt this morning.

You wanted to shoot him a glare, but couldn’t because of Steve. Whose confusion was slowly turning to thought, and finally anger. Ah, Harrington the hair finally clued in on what was going down.

Only it didn’t go as you planned. As Steve turned to Eddie, then to you and the t-shirt, before back to Eddie.

“Munson, you were wearing a shirt like that just the other day...” Steve began.

Robin’s eyes widened, before she looked between you and Eddie. Now knowing who the someone was. Steve looked to still be processing.

“N-now Steve...l-lets stop for a minute" came your slow, stuttered words.

When Steve’s eyes widened, and then narrowed in on Eddie, you knew he figured it out.

“I swear to God, if you have laid a finger on my cousin" grumbled Steve straightening up, and about to move around Robin.

Eddie, sweet and stupid Eddie, couldn’t help himself. “Harrington, I’ve had my hands and mouth on her".

“E-Eddie!” You said in embarrassment.

He just laughed, while Steve flared up more. Curses were shouted by your cousin, as he tried to grab the metal head. Thankfully Eddie narrowly escaped around the other side of the counter, and out the doors. You’d never seen him move so fast, or speed off in his van.

Steve stood by the door, having watched Eddie drive off. Then he swung around, face set with this stern expression.

“Seriously!? Eddie Munson!?” He questioned with a whine.

Robin burster out laughed, followed by your own chuckles. You shouldn’t be laughing at this, but what else could you do? Seeing both men react like they did was humorous, and comical.

But you knew as soon as your laughter dies down it would get real again. Really uncomfortable because your cousin was going to grill you over your secret relationship with Eddie Munson – your official boyfriend.

Later...

“I swear, when I see you next, I am going to punch you" you grumbled into the phone.

Eddie chuckled. “Oh, I love when you take rough".

“Seriously Eddie! Steve lectured me, and demanded I end it with you! God only knows what he will do when he sees you" you said before sighing.

“Sweetheart" came his soft voice. “For you, I’d let Harrington give me a shiner. Because there’s no way I’m letting you go. You’re my girl".

Your heart swelled at his words, a smile gracing your lips. “Oh really? Your girl, huh?”

He chuckled. “Damn right ya my girl. No one else would do”.

It was messy, your secret getting out. But now you could be openly with him. And you couldn’t wait for school on Monday, rocking up in Eddie's van. Because you were Eddie’s girl.

Won't Leave You Alone - Mattheo x Reader

A/N: this might be similar to something I've done before. But this prompt list, really got me thinking. So sorry if this sounds like my other work. But who doesn't like a chasing Mattheo, who wont take no for an answer? And a reader who struggles with their feelings? Maybe he's a little obsessed too... 😅

Warning/s: fluff, some making out, possible spelling/grammar mistakes

At first glance, anyone would think Mattheo was under the Amortentia potion. As he was absolutely infatuated with you, while you acted like the sight of the obsessed boy made you want to throw up.

But at another, longer glance, they could see that no potion was used on Mattheo Riddle, he was just so very taken with you. That he had chosen you above all, even if you didn’t return the sentiment.

You were walking back to the Slytherin common room, almost down the stairs into the Dungeons. And Mattheo was hot on your heels. This stupid lovey-dovey look on his stupidly handsome face.

Yes, you secretly admit Mattheo was easy on the eyes. But that was it!

Reaching the last step, you took a few steps in the direction of the common room door. And, of course, you could hear his feet on the ground – behind you.

You let out a frustrated and annoyed sound – not a huff or a growl, something of the two, maybe?

“Would you leave me alone!?” You stressed, turning around to glare at Mattheo.

He had stopped when you turned, eyes blinking before a playful smirk crossed his face. “Sorry love, but I am headed back to the common room too".

His voice was light, smooth. Like he knew exactly what you meant, but was playing dumb. And Mattheo was. He enjoyed working you up. But part of him wanted to see if you’d slip, say something you didn’t want or mean to. Yet so far it hadn’t work.

You groaned. “Oh, sure”. The sarcasm dripped from the word sure, telling him you knew him well. Maybe better then most.

Ever since third year Mattheo had been chasing you, trying to win you over. And he might have succeeded, if he didn’t hook up with other girls every now and then. He really knew how to make a girl feel special.

But that didn’t mean he didn’t try. First was the flirting and compliments he would shower you, even with your sarcastic and disdained responses. Second, Mattheo would be around you a lot, though he would open doors and pull out your seat. Third he would just openly say that he liked you, that he wanted to take you on a date. And you’d shoot him down every time.

You thought he’d give up, finally move on to a girl who throws herself at him. Nope. It was you. This boy wanted no one but you.

With a huff you turn from him once more, hair swishing with your abrupt movement. And then you continued on, feet stomping the ground. Not to mention you were moving quicker.

But so did Mattheo. He was moving at a faster pace, staying a few steps behind you. A small smirk on his face. Determined to win you over, or just getting closer to you.

When you got closer to the Slytherin house door, Mattheo moved quicker and went ahead of you. You of course faltered in your movement for a moment, before returning to your stomping strides.

Mattheo had moved to the door, summoning it and opened it for you. He stood there gesturing for you to enter first, a big grin plastered on his face. You slowed down, looking at him, the door and then him again. But eventually you entered, but not before making a comment.

“Don’t look at me like that" you hissed, moving into the common room.

You noted a good number of students in the gloomy space. But you weren’t bothered. You would say your usual piece with Mattheo before heading to your room.

“Then how should I? Because no way I’ll voluntarily stop" came Mattheo's quick-witted reply, face still lovey-dovey but with that small smirk.

You turned around with a huff, his words irking you but slightly setting your heart a flutter. You glared at the boy, unable to understand why he was so persistent. Why it had to be you he tortured.

“Don’t be stupid!” You grumbled, baring your teeth like a snake ready to strike.

Mattheo's smirk widened. “Then stop making it so tempting”.

A frustrated, yet annoyed sound left your throat. You through your hands up, he was so insufferable. If you were to go mad it was from the boy before you.

“You’re wasting your time...” you said coldly – clearly warning Mattheo.

His smirk dropped, a goofy grin replacing it. “With you? Happily".

That was it. That was the last straw. You felt your heart flutter, but at the same time your anger flare. This mixture of emotions driving you to breaking point.

“For the love of Merlin!” You huffed. “You won’t take the hint!? I don’t want your attention, or affection! I don’t want to be the second thought!”

By now nearby students had heard your rising voice.

“You act like I am the ‘only one’ but are always looking up with girls at parties! So go preach your undying love to one of your fan girls, because I refuse to be less then number one!” You were slightly huffing after all those words tumbled from your mouth.

But realisation hit you. Your eyes widened. Weaved into it was admission of how you felt – the truth. You took a few steps back, eyes looking around when hearing loud whispers from other Slytherin students. And then you looked back to Mattheo once more.

He looked stunned, his own eyes a little wider. Slowly your words sunk in, and you had expected him to smirk that all knowing smirk. But Mattheo didn’t. Instead a small soft smile formed on his lips, while his eyes shone with hope.

Mattheo took a step forward, which you took another step back at. Not allowing him to get close.

“Love...” he said softly, tenderly.

You shook your head. “N-nope! N-no!”

Before he could say another word, you turned on your heels and made your escape for the girl’s dormitory. Your room calling you, a safe place to hide while working out what just happened, and how to fix it.

You made it across the common room, up the stairs for the girl’s wing. And were halfway down the hallway, your room door in sight, when your arm was grabbed. You tried to break free, but their hold was tight. So you stopped and rounded on them, ready to go off at them.

But you saw Mattheo once more.

His face was serious. Gone the playfulness or goofy boy. Your breath caught in your throat. You hadn’t seen this side of Mattheo before. Fierce determination, a need in his eyes. But also a touch of terror.

Mattheo moved forward, guiding you back without really knowing, till your back met the wall of the hallway. The way you came in contact with the wall, the last bit of breath left you – stunned and confused.

Letting go of your arm, Mattheo moved his hands to rest on either side of your head. His body close but not touching. He had caged you in. And for once, you felt like a trapped animal.

Mattheo starred at you - first your face, then your lips before finally your eyes. You looked back into his, feeling yourself getting lost in the warm chocolate colour. And he, lost in the soft (colour) of your own.

Silence surrounded you both, besides the gentle noise coming from the common room, and the breathing of you both. Uncomfortable, but not unbearable.

You swallowed. Your mind a flurry of questions that couldn’t make it to your tongue. Mattheo was making you brainless for once.

And then he finally spoke.

“Why...why do you run away from me?” His voice was low, you almost hadn’t heard him. But knew he had spoken from his lips moving. “Is it so hard to believe that I want you?”

Once more you swallowed. Voice still lost.

“You are different. You stand your ground before me, rather than throwing yourself at my feet” he stated, moving a hand to push back some hair behind your ear. “You challenge me with your words. A sharp tongue and mind. Always keeping me on toes...”

You wanted to say many things to those words. To contradict him. But you couldn’t, nor did you want to. For you could feel yourself slipping – giving in.

“I’m going to break your heart...” you said softly.

Mattheo softly grinned. “And that moment, when you squeeze it real tight and it’s about to shatter, will be the greatest moment of my life".

What could you say to that? Words that should make you run away, only making your heart sore. Twisted as Mattheo was, you were just as bad.

Without a word, no words to be said, you wrapped a hand around his tie before pulling him in. Your lips met his hard. The feeling setting off a good shiver down your spine.

Mattheo, momentarily stunned by your actions, quickly recovered. He moved closer to you, his body pressing you into the wall, as he kissed you back. You should be panicking, pushing him away. But instead you gripped his tie and shirt, holding him close.

The kiss grew more, Mattheo taking the lead to request for it to be deeper. With a quick run of his tongue along your bottom lip, you gladly allowed him access. To which he didn’t waste exploring.

Your tongues met, a heated dance between them. Soft noises fell from you both, needy and excited. Both so lost in the moment that you hadn’t heard footsteps headed your way.

It was a set of giggles that ripped you back to the present. Quickly you pulled back from Mattheo, who leant in to kiss your neck. Uncaring of whoever was disrupting your moment.

You looked at the two girls who walked back. Their eyes on you in a condensing way, their giggles never leaving. Even as they continued down the halls you could still hear them somehow.

“Forget them" huffed Mattheo, lips working your neck.

It was like ice water washed over you. Realisation of what just happened sunk in. Mattheo chasing you, being real with you and yourself in turn. Making out with him. And being seen doing so.

Feeling your blood icing up, you pushed Mattheo away, shocking him once more. You stood tall, glaring at him – though it wasn’t your usually deadly glare. There was some softness to it.

“T-this never happened!” You barked, before stomping off to your room. And slamming your door behind you.

Mattheo fell back against the opposite wall, slowly blinking a few times. Registering what happened and was said. Then a wide smirk crossed his lips. And for that moment he revealed in his win.

You might be fighting him. But he now knew he had a chance. He just had to show you he could be the one for you. No more entertaining fan girls, and definitely no more hooking up with them.

“You’re all I need love...” Mattheo said softly, glancing at your dorm room door. “And I will have you...”

Soaked - Benny x Reader

A/N: been working on this for a week or so. And since I'm at work, and not happy, Benny became the escape. Sorry if it is a little all over the place 😅

Warning/s: fluff, oggling Benny, possible spelling/grammar mistakes

It was harmless fun on a hot summers afternoon. But what it did to you, my Lord, it left your mouth dry and mind blank.

A few Vandals had stopped by Kathy's, as you were visiting from a few house down the street. Typical afternoon hangout with a cold drink and patchy shade from the porch and house. A few other women had stopped by after seeing you and Kathy on her steps.

When the Vandal’s showed up they looked sweaty, overheated even from taking a decent cruise on their bikes. After parking their bikes, they removed their denim vest sporting their colours. Corky opted to remove his t-shirt, proud of his chest and stomach.

Wahoo, Cal and Benny kept their t-shirts on. You noticed Benny had rolled up his sleeves, cigarette hanging from his full lips. The way he glanced from his arms and slightly down, before looking up taking the cigarette from between his lips. Smoke falling from his parted lips.

“This heat is killin’ me!” Corky complained with a huff. “Can’t get cool or nothin'!”

The women around you chuckled.

“Ya wanna cool down?” Questioned Kathy, a slight smirk to her lips.

By this time all the Vandal men were looking to the women on the steps, like they had the answers to everything.

“Ah, yeah” retorted Corky.

Kathy glanced to you, silently conveying her thoughts to you. And – somehow – you know what she was up to. Without a word you slipped from the steps, not missing Benny's curious gaze.

“Alright, alright" Kathy said, drawing attention back to her. And away from you.

Without a word you moved to the dying garden, searching for what Kathy wanted you to get. Your eyes locked on to it, lips forming a smile. You looked back to Kathy, silently signalling her you’d found it.

“Well then boys, lets cool ya down" was her final words.

You raised the hose from a wilting bush, quickly working the tap. Water came forth, the hose going from warm to a cool feeling between your hands.

With a laugh you moved first to Corky, making sure the water hit the back of his head, then his back. Said man jumped, screaming in surprising. The women and other men laughed at him.

But then you turned the flowing water on both Wahoo and Cal, getting them as they attempted to avoid the water. They were laughing, not mad getting soaked by the hose.

Then it came to Benny. Who had stood his ground, watching it all play out. You smiled sweetly at him, head slightly tilted. Benny looked you in the eyes, a playful deadliness in his eyes.

“I wouldn’t dare sweetheart...” came his gruff voice.

Your smile widened. “Hmm, do what exactly?”

“You know what...” Benny said calmly. But there was an underlining playfulness to his voice.

You took a step closer, flicking the water towards him but not enough to hit him. “I really don’t...maybe ya should enlighten me?”

He shook his head, a small grin on his lips. “Sweetheart, I know ya know. So stop messin’ around...”

“Or what?” You challenged. Yet again flicking the hose, this time water hitting his boots.

Now it was Benny's turn to grin. “Do it and find out...I dare ya".

Well with words like words how could you not, right?

Knowing he raised your challenge with his own challenge, you knew there was no backing down. Without saying another word, you moved towards him. It was all a blur. You flicked the hose up and around, water made contact with Benny, a lot of water made contact. But that was due to the fight back from the young Vandal.

It became a scuffle – a fight for the hose. And in the process not only did Benny got soaked, so did you. Yet you didn’t care in the moment. You were laughing – as was Benny – while having a water fight. The cool water helping to cool you both off.

Benny of course was the victor. Making sure the hose was rushing water over your head. So you surrendered, knowing when to admit defeat. So you both laughed, along with the others. Who had been watching your moment.

“I’ll get towels" sighed Kathy, though she was smiling in amusement.

The water was turned off, hose thrown back into the garden. Corky was being sarcastic about how funny you were for hitting them with water. But that didn’t register, unlike feeling Benny's wet chest against your back. That was when reality hit you.

Benny was soaked. You were soaked. And you were pressed together.

Face heating up, you moved from Benny's hold. But said man just pulled you back, wrapping his arms around you.

“You ain’t gettin' away from me sweetheart" Benny husky words hit your ear.

If you weren’t turned on before – which you were – you would definitely be feeling the effects of the man holding you now. You glanced down at his arms, admiring the way they bulged around you. Feeling his chest against your back, both your soaked clothing allowing you to feel more of him then normal.

You swallowed – hard.

“A-alright" you squeaked out. Then immediately regretted it.

Benny chuckled in your ear, that husky – raspy noise that wasn’t helping.

“You’re so cute, ya know that?” He asked quietly, just between you both.

You could feel your face getting hotter, but remained silent. Benny just grinned. Soon Kathy returned, tossing towels at Corky, Wahoo and Cal. Yet when it came to you and Benny, Kathy grinned before carefully throwing the towels.

Benny effortlessly caught them, in the process you lost his arms around you. While the others talked, he moved you around and wrapped a towel around your shoulders. A soft smile on his lips.

“Can’t have ya catching a cold" was all he said.

But the chances of you actually getting sick was low, yet possible. You clutched the towel, holding it closer to your body while Benny dried his hair with his towel. Once more giving you a chance to look over his soaked t-shirt clad body.

His arms, lord. The way they moved, muscles flexing with movement. Then he dragged the towel down over his face, and neck. The lazy look on his face – damn. Benny then moved the towel over his arms while looking up at you. Catching you staring at him.

He grinned. “Like what ya see?”

You almost swallowed your tongue, brain going blank. Seeing your reaction the young Vandal laughed, but continued to dry most of himself off. But not before leaning in and kissing your forehead.

“Good thing ya my girl. Or else I’d be killin' whoever got that look from you".

Yep, that was the moment you snapped back and pushed Benny away. You then moved to Kathy, with a few words you then said you were heading home to change. Unfortunately – if its really a bad thing – Benny decided to follow you home, to look out for you. His sweet intentions wouldn’t be so sweet...

Defending You

‘Here we go again' you thought, as you watched Mattheo punch a Hufflepuff boy in the face, again.

You didn’t know why they were fighting, but suspected the Hufflepuff had done something to piss your boyfriend off. And from the furry on his face, it was something big.

Matheo's fist landed on the boys cheek with a sickening sound. The circle of students cheering at the spectacle, just making your stomach drop more. This didn’t sit right, not because they were fighting, but because Matthoe was so close to being expelled. And you fear this could be the final nail in the coffin.

“We need to stop him" you spoke up, voice laced with worry.

Theodore and Lorenzo stood on either side of you. Theodore was encouraging Mattheo's fight, while Lorenzo watched on with a neutral expression. Though part of you believed Lorenzo was thinking along the same lines as you.

“Why? He’s having fun" laughed Theodore and grinning.

You sighed. “That’s the problem, its to much fun".

Theodore continued to laugh, shaking his head. “It’s never to much fun".

Finally you saw something from Lorenzo, and it was just a shake of his head. “She’s right. He can’t keep doing this, if he gets caught-"

“He wont" Theodore butted in.

“If he gets caught, it might mean expulsion. And we don’t want that" Lorenzo concluded.

Theodore sighed, hands dropping to his sides. Face falling to a blank expression. But continued to watch the fight for a little longer.

Mattheo had landed more punches to the boys face and stomach. And in return the Hufflepuff had gotten a few back. He wasn’t as frenzied liked Mattheo, but he was doing his best to stand his own.

You looked to your boyfriend, noting his bloody nose and split lip. As well as the blood on his knuckles. The Hufflepuff was the same, if not worse off. Mattheo's white button up was ruined, various stains of red upon it, along with a few rips.

Mattheo launched himself at the boy, his shoulder connecting with his stomach. In his shock, the Hufflepuff wasn’t quick enough to brace himself. And the pair fell to the ground, the boy on his back and Mattheo scrambling to pin him down and continue to lay into him.

Every punch landed to the boys face. Mattheo just looking down at the boy. You noted the wild look in his eyes, which were borderline black. Hit after hit, after hit. And then you heard it – crack. Followed by a loud, anguished wale.

Mattheo had finally broken his nose.

You snapped out of it, and stepped forward. “That’s enough!” Came your booming, yet pleading voice. “You proved whatever point Matty, come on!”

You looked around the crowd, worried that a prefect or professor would show up. Silently willing they wouldn’t, not until you’d managed to get Mattheo far, far away. And cleaned up.

Mattheo, having finally stopped, sat atop the Hufflepuff. He was breathing heavy, dark eyes looking down at his handy work. The boys nose was weirdly shaped from the brake. Blood stained his skin, along with his face starting to swell. He’d be black and blue for days from the hits Mattheo had given him.

Which served the boy right. He had stepped out of line all week with the comments made about you. And now he’d surely learnt his lesson.

You looked back at Theodore and Lorenzo, a pleading look upon your face. Without a word, both boys stepped forward, past you and to Mattheo. Both grabbed an arm before lifting their friend up, and began dragging him away.

Mattheo didn’t protest, didn’t try to break free. He just let his mates pull him away, away from the carnage he’d caused. And all for you. Looking up from the boy on the ground, Mattheo finally glanced to you with a satisfied smile. To his surprise he saw worry upon your face, but also relief.

He had expected anger, a wagging motherly finger. But no, all he saw was tenderness before being lead away. You looked down at the Hufflepuff once Mattheo was out of sight. You sighed, surprised but not surprised by your boyfriend’s handy work. Then without a word you moved on, following your friends, who were headed for the Slytherin common room.

The halls were quiet all the way down into the Dungeons, and to the common room. Inside there were various students but none batted an eyelash at the four of you.

“Let’s get him to your room" you muttered quietly, just for the three to hear.

Without a word both Theodore and Lorenzo carried Mattheo to their shared room. Once inside, they sat him on his bed. The moment his behind sat on the mattress, Mattheo was tempted to fall back and finally relax. But he willed himself to stay sitting up. His body felt heavy – exhausted. Various parts of him ached from the hits he had taken. His knuckles throbbed from the force he had punched with, and the torn skin.

You stood a meter from your boyfriend, just staring at him, a questioning look upon your face. Theodore and Lorenzo shared a look, a knowing one. If anyone could get information from their mate, it would be you.

“Well, I guess we’ll leave him to you...” Lorenzo said awkwardly, before he and Theodore move from the room.

When the door closed silence washed over the room. A minute or so longer you just looked at Mattheo. All the while he looked to his bloodied hands, which rested on his knees.

When you snapped out of your trance, you silently shuffled to the bathroom. It took a moment but you found a dish and filled it with warm water, and grabbed a cloth to use to clean him up.

Hearing your approaching steps, Mattheo looked up at you. Curious to what you were doing, though he knew good and well that you were going to clean him up. You had done it a few times before, but only with a damp cloth.

But he was more bloodied this time, hence the dish of warm water. Which told him he must look a fright. Sitting the dish on his bed side-table, you wet the cloth, then rang it out. The soft noise filled the space between and around you both.

You then moved to kneel before him. Taking a hand in your own, you gently ran the cloth over his knuckles, being careful not to hurt or open the wounds. You concentrated on his hand, and then the other. All the while Mattheo watched you, his chest tightening by how soft and caring you were with him. Like you always were.

“So, why did you do it?” You quietly asked, eyes still on his hand while cleaning.

Mattheo was silent. Unsure of how to answer your question. Should he give the long or short version of events leading up to that moment? Would you understand him, and where he was coming from? Or would you go off, lecturing him?

Eventually he shrugged. It wasn’t an answer, not to you anyways.

You sighed. “Look, I want to understand Matty...I really want to. Please, be honest with me?”

Then you looked up. Soft (coloured) eyes focused on him. The worry, the care and the tenderness swimming in those eyes of yours, and all for him. It pulled at his heart strings more. Making him feel just a little bit bad. Not for what he’d done, no, but for how he made you feel. The worry and concern.

He sighed, eyes moving to your hands holding his now. The cloth back in the dish. Your smaller hands holding his larger ones. Thumbs running over the back of his hands, in a caring and encouraging way.

“H-he deserved it” Mattheo muttered out. “All week he had been...”

He stopped himself, taking a deep breath. You didn’t need to know, but he knew you wanted to. Mattheo had hoped to spare you, save you from knowing what the Hufflepuff had said about you. The words he spoke about you.

Sensing his hesitation, you kept a hold of Mattheo's hands before moving to sit beside him, closer to the bed side-table. Removing one hand, you retrieved the damp cloth, after squeezing out excess water.

You turned back to your boyfriend, soft smile on your face as you moved the cloth to his face. Gently you ran it over his cheeks, then chin and lips. Careful of his split lip.

“I get you might want to keep it from me, thinking its to protect me Matty...” you looked him in the eyes. “But I want to know. I have a right to know...”

Your voice was gentle, like how you were washing his face. You moved to wipe his nose, around his eyes and his forehead. Tender and caring was your touch. Which only soothed him further, like always.

“H-he disrespected you" he sighed, voice barely audible.

You slowly nodded, encouraging him to go on.

“All week, he had made comments...at first harmless ones, which I let go" he winced when you touched a tender spot on his face.

“Sorry" you said quickly, moving your thumb to graze the area in apology.

He nodded slightly, accepting your words. “B-but then he got bolder. Those words became more, and eventually became disgusting. I-I couldn’t just let him get away with it. I wouldn’t let him".

Mattheo's voice grew a little louder, venom gaining with every word. You cupped his cheek, thumb still caressing his skin. Comforting him, thats what you were doing. Keeping him grounded and not letting the anger back in.

“You should have just let it be...” you said softly – soothingly. “Maybe he was trying to bait you...”

He huffed. “Maybe...but I wasn’t going to let him get away with talking like that. No one talks like that about you”.

There was an edge to his voice, darkness and protectiveness – possessiveness. And when it came you, Mattheo was your protector, along with the mine mentality. Which you didn’t  mind. For you liked knowing how much you mean to him.

“You’re mine. No one speaks like that about you – not even me! Nor will I tolerate disrespect to you".

You felt your chest swell with pride, a small smile gracing your lips. Deciding to stop Mattheo from getting worked up, you quickly leant in and pressed a soft, lingering kiss to his swelling lips. Mindful not to press to hard.

Instantly Mattheo stiffened, his mind going blank. The kiss had done its job. His thoughts, and growing murderous intent dying out from such a loving act.

Slowly you drew back, smile still on your lips. Your thumb continued to caress his cheek. You looked into those gorgeous molten chocolate brown eyes, seeing your Mattheo return. The sweet, surprised boy – that is only reserved for you.

“You’re so possessive over me" you snickered.

Mattheo grinned, pulling you closer. “I’d say protective...but possessive works too".

You laughed at that, and then so did he. When the laughter died down, you finished cleaning his skin. But in a change of events, your dear boyfriend decided to throw you over his shoulder before heading for the bathroom. Something about needing help in the shower...

Alright, Kinktober it is haha. Might still post a few angsty ones too. Will have a list up, with characters I will write for. And let you all get a chance to pick a prompt and character. That will be up either later today or tomorrow. Then I'll start drafting everything, and writing the stories 😊
