A24 is making a TV series version of Alexis Hall book 'Boyfriend Material', which preceded 'Husband Material' and 'Father Material'.
Love the books. I can't wait to see who gets cast as Luc and Oliver. 😆
Also, book 3, Father Material, comes out 2 June so can't wait to read that.

Here’s something I’m curious about.
Picture this. You’re reading a book, a standard book divided into chapters. Let’s say it’s fiction (don’t know if nonfiction would get different results). You’ve been reading for a while and you want to stop for now. Assume you are not literally falling asleep, you’re still awake and lucid.
You are in the middle of a paragraph, in the middle of a page, somewhere in the middle of a chapter in the middle of the book.
What do you do?
Put the book down immediately
Read till the end of the paragraph, then put it down
Read till the end of the last paragraph on the page, then put it down
Read till the first paragraph on the next page, then put it down
Read till the end of the chapter, then put it down
It depends? (explain)
“Power through and finish the book” is not an option, but if you really do that you have my sympathies.

if yall stop hearing from me just assume im traveling with the crew of a magical black and white and red circus doing tarrot readings in a cinnamon scented dark tent watching two magicians hopelessly fall in love from the sidelines while knowing both their romance and the existence of the circus itself is doomed

- “Sometimes I pretend my fear is a little rabbit in my chest. It’s the sort of rabbit my brother’s school tests their techniques on, with grey fur and dark eyes, and it hides underneath my sternum beside the heart.
Mother and Father are going to do this to you, it reminded me. And when they do, you’ll cut yourself open. You’ll pull out your insides. You promised.” -
