I have to work this whole weekend and I'm really nervous about it. Some things could go wrong at any time, so I won't feel safe and 'done' with it until I walk out the door on Sunday.

As a result of being nervous about work, I am focusing on anything but. And also stress-shopping. I bought like $100 worth of candy + stickers to decorate a new fanfic journal (my first one is almost full!) and moved all the food out of my fridge so I could wipe down the shelves and I am planning a special 'I'm FREEE!' meal for Sunday night and almost every other spare moment I spend writing a Ryan Gosling x Ryan Gosling fanfic.

Plleeeeeeease let this weekend pass by without incident.

#I'm going to make myself a ~luxe~ sandwich with [store bought] onion rings and a locally made candy bar #pesto + prosciutto + tomato confit + feta cheese + arugula + chili oil + basalmic vinegar. Imagine Grace defined his name as the elegance definition of grace and Rocky spends years thinking how fucking ironic this clumsy leaky space blobs name is.

Until Grace slips out a sentence along the lines of "could you give me a little grace here" and Rocky immediately points out he used a word wrong so Grace has to explain that yeah, grace means elegance but it can also mean mercy sometimes too.

And Rocky has to suddenly reconcile that the clumsy leaky blob that saved his life twice, that almost certainly doomed himself to come back for him, name is Mercy.

I could swear I signed up in 2012 haha. I remember most of 2012 as the time I got mega-obsessed with Kingdom Hearts and was staying up to 4am to watch Let's Plays of it, KH1 thru BBS (and no skipping!!).

But anyway god IVE BEEN ON TUMBLR SINCE 2011. (almost) 15 YEARS OF MY LIFE!!

#Usually; finishing it. Or at least finishing the scene I had in my head that made me want to write it. Usually a Third Act scene #And also; writing it well. To my own satisfaction. Even fics with low stats can make me as proud as an astronaut's mom #self #fanfiction

Sunday fanfic writing, my favorite thing. Started at noon it's almost 5pm and I'm at 1,000 words. I know I can hit 3,000 by tonight if I fuckin MOTOR

I keep distracting myself by looking at moose and bison stickers on etsy bc I like moose and bison and I was thinking there's a slight chance I'll visit Yellowstone next summer.

2am. 3300 words written today. I might get 100 more before I need to conk out. Tomorrow may be a rough work week and I'm nervous about it. But overall just a bit less nervous/stressed than I was last week.

Just like I thought I am not-quite-halfway done with the chapter haha goddamn. And to think I imagined that by this time, I would have this 2-part fic done, and another DIFFERENT 2-part fic also done or near-done. I'm still too lofty and arrogant about what types of personal deadlines I can fulfill.

Also due to stress or bad decisions or being a lazy fuck I guess, I bought like $100 worth of stickers and candy from different places in between writing sessions.
