Sixth months after the Jedi Purge, Greez Dritus takes a job transporting goods from Bracca. He wasn't expecting much excitement from the trip, except maybe having to chase off overeager scrappers eyeing his ship. He certainly wasn't expecting to accidentally pick up a child along with his cargo, especially not a weird, traumatized one who keeps screaming in his sleep.

knowing revan has descendants in swtor while not personally subscribing to swtor's canon about revan's gender makes the idea of them meeting rlly funny to me

Inspired almost entirely by that escape pod scene in Survivor – there’s absolutely no way Cal escaped injury crashing on Bracca, right? He’s small enough that he probably didn’t fit the safety restraints properly, and that’s even if he remembered to try and strap in after the trauma of his friends trying to kill him and his master dying in front of him. So. In this universe, Cal wakes up on Bracca with a broken wrist, a head injury, and a big blank where his memory should be. i had a dream where the 3rd Jedi game was released, but instead of being called “Jedi: [blank]”, it was called “A Jedi’s Promise”, which sounds like it would be the name of an in-universe Jedi-themed trashy romance novel. there was also a character in the game named Supreme Rufus. i think he was imperial, so his title was “Supreme” for some reason. who is Supreme Rufus. what does he want.

on jedi-related trashy romance novels, it's been established those are very much a thing in the gffa but do you think there are any about cal specifically?? like his wanted posters have made him pretty famous, do you think there's in-universe cal fans writing y/n bodice rippers about a charming jedi terrorist coming to save them from the empire?? maybe "a jedi's promise" is real

This reminds me of an excellent Merrical series on AO3. "The Heart is a muscle" by janekestrel. Trashy Jedi romance novels are a major plot point for helping Merrical getting together, and later in the series they use characters in said books as aliases. It's amazing.

how do you feel about foxes!

i like them now that i don't live in the countryside where i had to hear them doing their funky mating business. i hate whichever ones ate two of my brother's chickens and don't massively like the one that tried to eat my chicken, but i can't fully hate that fox as it ultimately wasn't successful because my chicken was too fat

Ok kind of a stupid thing but here goes

We know cal uses blasters all the time, do you think he tried/would try to teach the other jedi to use a blaster with a lightsaber because, you know, why wouldn't you?

I imagine Ezra being on board since his first saber was also a blaster, but what about Ahsoka who knew Obi "blaster's are uncivilzed" Kenobi? I imagine cal would have a heck of a time trying to convince her to learn

cal and ezra would try, but i don't think the main obstacles would be luke and ahsoka's OWN attitudes...
